I really just got into hiking this year- I had been taking nature walks and I used to run trail ultramarathons before I got really sick from tick diseases.. Now I’m getting into camping/backpacking! I’m going to my first camp & hike this weekend and look forward to planning a real backpacking trip once I can get the gear I need. I live in wisconsin USA and want to try winter camping (at least in mild weather to start!) Thanks for the info!
