Are Robot yard care robots really worth it? Today we unbox and take a look at the yarbo body with the s1 snowblower smart yard atachment. This could be the one robot you need. It's difficult to explain the quality of this machine and its yard attachments. The body with attachments weighs over 200lbs.

The Yarbo isn't just for snowblowing. It's a complete yard system. Yarbo is commited to bringing the best all in one system the yard care community has seen. Attachments ranging from ai robot lawn mower, the snowblower s1 attachment, leaf blowers etc. Yarbo is commited to bringing the best commercial quality modules to homeowners.
You know that expression "built like a tank" well, pretty sure they were talking about the yarbo. This machine is as solid as it looks. The base without the modules here is called “the body”. It’s low center of gravity and heavy body sets it apart from the competition and makes it possible to use other high quality modules without bogging it down. It’s hard to explain over the camera how solid this machine is. The unit that I received came with the body, the snow blower s1 module 2 stage blower and a wireless charging station.
Lets talk about the s1 snowblower module and what yarbo is promising us. The snowblower s1 module is very high quality and weighs as much as a two stage snowblower you’d buy from the store. Super high tech and is loaded with options. The yarbo is marketing that it can handle dry /wet / packed snow, has an Intake height of 12” and is 21” wide, throws snow from 6ft to 40 ft, ipx6 waterproof, capable of slopes up to 20 degrees , chute rotation is 0 to 180 degrees, cleans about 6000 sqft per charge, takes 1.5hrs to charge the battery, comes loaded with safety sensors such as a bump sensor, stop sensor and radar sensor to detect what’s in its path
The future is here! Check out the video and let me know your thoughts.

Heya, Ginja! Thanks for another well-made, informative video! Pretty cool gadget there, with some impressive features. Was impressed enough to go to the website and check the price/warranty and performance claims. While it would definitely be an alternative for those that have even driveways and sidewalks, I had to calm down a bit and think it through. I'm pushing 70 now, and retired, so I don't have to (or want to) go work on a couple inches of snow anymore. And my neighbors are pretty good about clearing those levels of snow from my driveway and walkway. I do still jump on the JD with a 44" two-stage, bundle up and take a couple shots of "winter coat" to go remove berms in the immediate neighborhood after the snow plows come through.

yeah, it's a maintenance machine - but if it snows (or drifts) extra while you're sleeping - even in your tiny suburban drive, you're not driving out today. Then again, y'all should have been able to drive out through that "massive" snow fall without a blower. REAL snow load is going to need more power - good idea having modules but I think this needs a lot of work or powerful snowblower that is steered by the base unit

New Yorker here. Probably not gonna cut it for the foot-deep or more snow events we often get here, but I imagine if you set it for multiple passes *during* the storm, you’d be cutting a few inches at a time and thus wouldn’t have that problem. Now all this thing needs is a module for spreading salt/sand on the leftover snowpack and ice.
@pestandlawnginja
@pestandlawnginja 4 месяца назад
Live the comment. It works fantastic. People tend to look at this device and think it's not going to cut 2 feet of snow. It's capable but with that said. It's designed to work over and over and over. You'd start your session as it hits 2 to 4 inches and set it to continually run as you mentioned. It's a maintenance machine. It does the work so you don't have to

The selling price is high right now just to limit the rollout to a manageable quantity. The price should drop significantly over the next few years. Perhaps as it evolves from being a tank to being a cheap piece of plastic. Nooooooo....

The version I had was still pre release and they're working on refining the sensors. With that said the people detect sensors were very sensitive. They hadn't turned the obstacle avoidance for cars on in the pre release so I couldn't tell you one way or another.

@pestandlawnginja
@pestandlawnginja 5 месяцев назад
@@joeyanderson6660 we had 5 or 6 storms when I was filming. as i mentioned in the video the first time it snowed we had about 1.5" of slush. when i had the blower speed at auto it plugged up. once i moved it to the highest speed i had one stop to clean out the slush. after that no issues. even my $1500 2 stage blower struggles with 4" of snow and 1.5" of slush pack. it is what it is. the other 5 storms i ran the machine a few times during the storms and no issues. I also ran the machine remotely from las vegas when i was at ces convention. pretty cool. For now the software requires you to choose to run the machine. no scheduled options or sensors to anticipate heavy snow in your area. Overall i feel with software advances this is the machine to have.

The shoot is rated for 1 foot. I tested up to 5" of snow that included .5" of slush. As long as the auger settings are at the highest speed it does great. When they're lower you have similar issues with slush sticking in the shoot. The snow blower module is a true 2 stage blower. It's built better than most standalone models in my opinion.
