@@mr_red13 it depends on what you need, if it’s just to empty your pocket and few more items that’s perfect. If you need more space I would prefer carrying a bag.
I found this really cool to see when they started to come back and people were wearing then in a tight, cross-body fashion. I still have a belt bag/fanny pack that I bought from an amusement park in 2000 that I used to always wore tightly crossbody, b/c of all the people you bump against on an amusement park ( it was a BiG park that we had a season pass for and went to often), is great to be able to keep all your stuff in while on a Rollercoaster, and as also a convenient size for day to day. Coincidentally, it was a canvas style similar to one's I've seen them review on this channel, and just a little smaller than the Everyday bag you see everyone wearing. Still use it periodically, and also got an Everyday bag knock-off recently that I like using as well as it's just a liiiiitle bigger.
I feel these are fanny packs but people are calling them and wearing them as slings. In saying this, I do have an actual sling by Baggallini. Love it for travel and also keep it in my car when I want to just run into a store without my big purse/work bag. Throw my wallet, phone and keys in it. I can also fit a mini umbrella in it.😢
So … if you're flying a budget airline that only allows personal items (for free), can you carry a small backpack or whatever and then wear a teeny weeny low-profile sling if you wear it cross-body style?
That’s the same question I want to ask, Because airlines allow 1 big Carry On and 1 Personal Bag and when it comes to Sling Bag I don’t know whether you can bring it or not, if Sling’s included then total is 3 since the rule says 2
Most airlines treat fanny packs/bum bags as personal attire, so it's fine. Same way you could carry a ton of stuff in a cargo/travel vest with lots of pockets and it doesn't affect your baggage allowance.
I hate when they make slings to be only slings and cannot use them as fanny packs. I hate having something so close on my chest, being a girl especially, my boobs are in the way LOL. also, in summer, it adds an unnecessary hot spot to the chest which isn't comfortable. But having it on my hip is much more comfortable. To me, personally.
I just got the north face base camp voyage. I can’t fit what I need in it lol but I was wanting to put 3 pairs of shorts 5 shirts my steam deck a pair of hey dudes and a hoodie and jersey in it. 🤣 I’ll just use it for something else it’s a sweet bag.
Because men usually don't like carrying cumbersome things. Slings are great when you want to bring things that are a little bit tough to carry with just pockets.
@@shepleonard8695 powerbank on the bigger side. A pocket wifi. Phone. A small water bottle. Probably some cologne. Money. Passport. At least that's what I usually carry on the basis when travelling. Tried only using pockets and that's just won't work without overly tightening my pants and other things
@@shepleonard8695 For the gym or an outing, I like to carry a power bank and charging cable, water bottle, compact hand sanitizer, tissues, locker lock, and I also like to dump my wallet and earbuds case inside when I go for my workout
I would love a video that focuses on document storage and access for a family. I travel with up to 4 passports and love a sling but often they don't fit that many passports together where I can grab them quickly. Travel backpacks too. I love the quick access pockets but don't see them fitting 4 passports.
@topspin1715 nothing branted tbh I use a green canvas style one its square in shape so fits an iPad mini and its right at my chest. I had a couple try to pickpocket us where I felt them feel up my pants. Hard to believe when it happens to you, I was questioning whether I was being paranoid but def was an attempt. As long as things are close to your body u are good
Tsa has cracked down, if you have a crossbody-sling-fanny pack and a personal bag, you gotta put the fanny pack in the personal...bc now it's considered 2 which is not allowed
Patagonia ultralight is so convenient for stashing phone, wallet, sunglasses, charging cable, earbuds, etc through security and for accessing everything on the plane
Given these are for travelling, maybe stop calling them fanny packs 😆. Unless you're also comfortable calling them vagina pouches because that's what you're saying outside of The US.
