By growing up i realized that most of the time friendship is not like what is depicted on TV shows and anime, where they trust and care for each other deeply. Most of the time they just need someone to have fun with, nothing more than that. This realization makes me less lonely, and i'm glad.

I can do things at my own pace. 2.Dont have to hear gibberish talk. 3.Most people are no good,descent people are hard to find. 4.Dont have to be told what to do,how to think,what to think,what not to think,how to dress,what to eat and drink. 6.Most people are narcissistic, pretentious,superficial,phony, stupid,no good,and repugnant.

My allergy to dogs has kept me from hanging out with a bunch of my friends, multiple times. My ‘friend’ group recently went home to one of their homes to watch movies and hang out (they did it everyday for a week, and then in some weekends after) and I didn’t get invited, because the person who’s hosting has a big dog. Ever since that, I’ve been really hesitant to socialize, and haven’t been together with them after school. A new classmate even got invited, but they never even said a word to me about it.

Whenever I'm sad, I'm apparently "looking for attention". Whenever I ask someone for help, I'm apparently "too dependent". Whenever they ask me "are you okay?", they don't really care about me... they're just curious as to what happened. Whenever I tell them what's wrong, I'm apparently "too annoying" because I keep "ranting" about stuff they don't care about. Whenever I don't tell them what's wrong and I tell them "I'm fine", they get pissed at me for not telling them when they ask. Whenever I'm being myself, I get judged and gossiped about behind my back. Whenever I change myself to suit what they would prefer me to be like, they tell me to not care about what others think of me and just "be myself". Whenever I tell them my problems or concerns, they tell me "I'm too sensitive". . . . . . What the hell do you want from me?

I don't need friends. Every single time they end up ditching me or hating me for no apparent reason. Thanks to them, I now hate any form of social relationship.

I always sit by myself on the bench at school and listen to music during breaks. I've only once had someone ask me, "Do you have friends?" to which I immediately replied, "Does it matter?" I'm doing fine by myself and i've accomplished a lot that way. I've had 'friends' before I went completely solo but all they did was gossip, drink almost every weekend, vape, smoke and use edibles. I know because I was like an observer with them and that was before I felt ashamed to be alone. There have been 1 or 2 good people that I came across but i'm just not invested in maintaining a friendship as I once was. Overall, in my opinion, it's ok to not have any friends. Trust yourself because you will need to depend on yourself when no one else can help you.

I do have friends, but not real friends, i feel like they only call me to hang out when they need something from me, other than that, they go on parties, holidays, hiking, but never call me, and i know they go to these places as they post pictures on Instagram, snapchat, Facebook, ect.. but when they call me, they only call me to help them out with something, or just make fun of me if they are bored i know it sounds ridiculous, but this truly is my life, i am such a pathetic loser, my parents think i have friends, but i really don't, and ever since i realized that i was just being used, i stopped hanging out, for now, i am fine being a loner, and yea, it would be nice to have true good friends with whom you can talk openly from the heart, and friends with whom you can laugh FML i just suck

I m more happier when I m alone and by myself because I can be the real me. It's the best feeling to embrace one's solitude and find comfort in that. With friends I always have to pretend to be someone I m not just to fit in. So I try my best to be alone and enjoy my time with myself 💜💜

My old "friends" betrayed me without any reason, I was never mean to them, I even invited them to hangout, watch a movie together and spend money with them. So one of my so called "friend" used my other friends and I ended up being betrayed and left me. Now a decade has past and I still have no friends, because I can't trust people anymore.

Actually you don't need any friends. The one thing in life you learn is that "friends" come and go. People grow, people have families and children and other lives. That's why for all many of those childhood or high school friends fade away. It just happens sadly. They got their own lives and sadly the memory of you fades away. The once daily or texts you got from a "best" friend becomes infrequent until it disappears. It just happens and it's a way of life. The only thing you can do is focus on yourself. Don't get too involved with anyone because eventually that work "friend" finds another job, gets transferred, and then forgets you in 6 months. Just focus on yourself and what makes you happy.

id rather have internet friends than irl friends most of my irl friends only talk to me if they need something or if theyre gonna drag me into some crazy shit they said "we need you" i said to them "you dont need me, you need my stuff" and they just hung up internet friends on the other hand are funny entertaining someone you can really talk to aside from your family play online games with them since youre all in the internet anyway and youre safe unless you say something personal and probably blackmail you with it but common sense you shouldnt say such thing thats why i prefer internet friends

I'm just here to see that I'm not alone about, well... being alone lmao The thing is, I am aware that my actions may come off as "I dont want anyone to speak to me and I have no interests in being friends with you" (or ppl just dont find me approachable) but in reality it's that I'm perfectly fine (and would appreciate) anyone getting to know me. But at the same time, I just dont feel the energy to make friends either. I have such a... bland and dead personality, unlike many, I am not much of a talker at all (and I mean it literally, i dont say much even if I feel comfortable). I would need to change myself if I wanted friends and I just dont have the motivation for that... sure having close ppl are nice but because I feel ok being alone too (and my comfort of not having to change), I rather just be alone. I dont understand myself rlly, nobody has hurt me and i have bad experience with previous friends, im just feeling done with everything. I easily find it overwhelming with many ppl so that's why I go to more isolated areas, it is not me trying to be emo, different or just hate yall- I just hate being in loud places with many ppl at once
