*向き不向きより前向き - "Rather than worrying about being suitable or not, just face forward"
"Suitable" literally means "facing a direction," and "Unsuitable" means "not facing a direction." A proverb that means to just do things without hesitating or doubting yourself. It's a bit of wordplay at the same time!!
*臥薪嘗胆 - "To lie on sticks and feed on gall" There's a whole story behind this proverb but it basically means to go through some crazy hardships to achieve your ambitions.
