Just seeing a creature hiding behind a closet drawer has to be one of the scariest things hands down. Knowing it's there, and knowing it's hiding to wait for you, is the scariest feeling I have ever felt.
Jumpscares: 4:27 Hand on the window 8:01 Light anomaly 15:44 Intruder 17:17 Intruder 24:00 Light anomaly 24:20 Object movement 30:12 VERY LOUD object movement 31:14 Him again 45:25 Creature in the backroom's level zero 45:35 idk what the fucc that was
The dresser/armoire scare and when he closes the other door FOR you as you peek into darkness are my favorite scares in this! It's so subtle and perfect haha
@@immortal3622 Thanks for asking nicely! I played it again. Here: Dresser/armoire build up for scare, starting at 4:49. Scare at 5:41 Closing door for you, build up for scare starting at 15:18. Scare at 15:44
Just makes me wish for a horror game where the entire thing is just really subtle, nonstop creepy things. Like, I want most of the scares to be so subtle that you really only see them if you stop and pay attention, and then cram it full of them. Things out of the corner of your eye, faces in corners of windows, feet from people hiding where they shouldn't be, photos with eyes that follow you, shadows that aren't quite right, the silhouette of objects warped to look like people just for a fraction of a second when you walk in/out of a bright room; just have it really subtle and make them disappear once you look away so that the opportunity to see them is really small. To compensate, you just jam it full of subtle creepy things.
ive been wishing for a game like that for so long too, it would also be so scary with a constant pursuer enemy that is more subtle and tries to outsmart u by hiding around corners for ambushes or following behind stalking u at a distance and sneaking up but not being totally in your face all the time, i need it DX
It's really nice that you shed light on smaller developers like this. I'm always interested when you play a new game from a dev we've seen on your channel already!
5:45 I absolutely fucking love shit like this and hate that not many horror games do this. There is no musical sting or indication to notify the player to look at it. It's just a burly naked guy trying to hide behind the wardrobe door, and the game pretends like everything is fine. *chef's kiss*
I don't know how often you look at suggestion comments but I see other people reccomending games so. I would highly highly suggest playing In Sound Mind! It's a pretty long game compared to the non-replayable horror games you usually play, but it's got great art direction, character deisign, spooks, music, AND best of all an amazing sense of humor. All the music is done by The Living Tombstone and it's just! Such a masterpiece but I haven't seen any of the let's players I watch play it. That and if you can get a friend, We Were Here is an amazing game series that recently just had it's fourth (and potentially final?) game come out a few weeks ago. Again great art style, the first game is free, and it's a co-op puzzle based game with light horror themes which there just isn't enough of. Great content as always! I love all the variety of games you play and lesser known titles/creators that are given a spotlight because of you :)
Omg, that clock is one of the greatest ideas i've ever seen hahah. It makes you go to get a chair and come back if you want to turn it off, so you are already really awake and you don't fall asleep again after the "10 minutes more"
What a good game! It was really well developed and the style is fantastic. I had a funny idea while watching, before I put together that Simon is her son. Horror game where you're being haunted by a vengeful thing, but it's got the wrong house. First half is typical puzzle/survival horror as you piece together what it wants, second half is you helping the haunt track down the actual culprit and get justice/revenge as it sees fit.
Thank you for taking the time to get all of the endings and Easter egg. I've watched a playthrough of this but they only got the 1st ending without completing the photo, so I def appreciate you taking the time to do this.
I only remember the grapefruit thingy because I'm a nursing student and I kinda knew right away what it means before you even saw the description. To my fellow nursing or medical students out there, correct me if I'm wrong. What I remember from the top of my head is that grapefruit juice, or grapefruit in general and other citruses such as tangerines, seville oranges, and such has a chemical or some sort that basically blocks an enzyme that is responsible for breaking down medications and therefore, the body can't dispose of what amount of drug isn't needed by the body, causing that same drug to still work for longer time as it should've been, sometimes causing overdose effects.
You’re correct! The enzyme it interferes with is known as CYP3A4. The enzyme generally reduces the absorption of medication in your system, but when grapefruit interacts with it, it blocks the enzyme making it easier for the medication to pass through your gut and directly into your bloodstream. This makes the medication concentration in your bloodstream raise way faster than it should, potentially to toxic levels.
the only problem with that game is you have to play through the entire game (like 5 hours) per ending so he'd have to beat it 4 times and the only thing thats different is the ending
Love you! | Indie horror game suggestion. Game title: "Veneficium". Its a survival horror game based in the woods. The themes are a lovely mix of recent games you have enjoyed, with their own twist. Hehehehehe Yes, it's on steam
Love it. Most games in Unreal Engine I know the assets as use them myself. Most the chairs are from the Farmhouse asset pack XD Same as other one. really well done though
Jumpscares + Funny moments 1:00 Can we all leave? 4:21 Close the window 4:46 Lock the door 5:38 Turn on the lights 7:58 Lights? 8:52 Insym: I caaan`t.... 9:57 Just Insym having a bunch of emotions: "I hate you!", "Behind you???" 12:28 Let`s listen some rythmic music 13:22 The Monster? 15:38 Who`s there? 16:35 Scratching? 17:00 The door is being naughty 17:17 Horrible! 20:57 No pants? 23:07 Do not talk on the phone with your back standing at an opened door! 23:58 Electricity? 24:18 The washing machine is attacking 25:11 Yup!...ok 26:21 Ahhh...+ regrets 29:27 Why would you call when you`re in the same house? 30:00 Gong and Boom!!! 31:13 Insym stares as close as possible, not scared anymore 31:42 A bunch of wierdos + Gollum 45:22 Octopus + Backrooms A very sad ending...
I actually looked into the grapefruit juice drug interaction a few days ago, and basically there is a receptor that helps pull -statin drugs out of your system that gets inactivated by a compound in grapefruits (and a couple other citruses) so yeah some drugs' effects are increased by grapefruit because of higher retention of the active compounds. it can be harmful and in rare cases deadly, so talk to your doctor if grapefruit is right for you!
An interesting game. I was expecting something a lot more sinister and intense, but this was still a fantastic experience. I don't get how the skin-carved dudes, and the big monster at the end really relates to the main character's trauma though. I guess if they were all wolves though, it might have given away the plot twist a bit too much. The visual & verbal threats, and hints you have to deal with throughout confuse me too, but maybe that's the main character wanting to repent for their carelessness and are sort of seeking someone to punish them?
Insym I’ve recently come across your streaming channel and have very quickly become a fan. I always enjoy your streams and appreciate you entertainment. Thanks for the good times. 👍❤️ I also love horror games but am too chicken shit to play them. So thank you for letting me live vicariously!
Has anybody else noticed that Insym looks and sounds like one of those eastern european actors that keep popping up on multiple mobile game ads? Heck one popped up for me on this video
Keep up the awesome work!!!!! I love all your content!!! Can’t believe I got here first!!! I truly cannot wait to watch this! At the beginning of the final ending it gave you a hint that something was coming by letting you know the sprint bind, which is never a good thing in any horror game.
You should play Oxide 104 it’s a really creative and unique horror game and each time you die you are punished because its a little more challenging each time you die and do it again. And the lore is very ominous. I won’t spoil it but I think it would be really fun
look- i got my lamp on and im under the covers mannn but i couldn't help but laugh when insym did this 9:13 Like- i cant tell if that was in game sound or he's keyboard "it was the key to my heart" omg i love chat bro XDD the timing on this was just too perfect XD 26:22 ty for leaving off on a diff ending ;-; i also think chat would've loved it lol
You mised the the extra game modes in: It steals. You had to click the stars in the menu (tge ones that you get by beating the main gamemodes. The first 3 stars have extra game modes.
Off topic, but for being fans of Insym and horror games, you seem to have a very easily fraightened fanbase. Almost everyone I play with from your discord either scream or whimper from the slightes thing lol. Their levels doesn't seem to matter either apparently, it can be someone from level 1 to someone level 2000, they all scream or whimper lol, it's so funny and ironic.
hearing the truth of the son hits hard since I have a child aswell, almost 5, and thinking of such a way of losing your child is unbearable thought, it makes me cry. I hope very little people has to go through the pain of losing a child.
