After facing the challenges his grandfather and father encountered, his response is nothing short of remarkable. He not only forgoes resentment but also seeks to contribute positively, reflecting the depth of his character. Shahzadeh, with a heart rich in compassion and a soul brimming with wisdom, gracefully declines what is rightfully his - the crown. Such a decision speaks volumes of his true majesty and royal essence. His actions are a testament to his extraordinary qualities, which stand out even more starkly against the backdrop of oppressive figures like Khamenei. It's a powerful reminder that true value and capability often shine brightest in the face of adversity. Thanks, Patrick.

What about Singapore? Lee Kuan Yew virtually limited corruption by making sure politicians were paid a decent amount. And he managed to come up with policies no matter how unpopular they were within his party, but they benefitted the country like limiting traffic to cut down on pollution. And in Brunei, the Sultan makes sure his people are taken care of, with free quality education, healthcare, and affordable housing, and no one has pay him income tax for it. And in Norway, the government invests a lot in education amongst other policies to make sure their people are taken care of.

In constitutional monarchy, power would be defined in the constitution, while monarchs mostly become symbolic, they can be a safe guards against things like islamists or communists taking over. Benefits far outweigh the cons. Tbh, in practice, monarchy is the honest version of democracy if you ask me but I can see how it wouldn’t look appealing to Americans. When and if said countries become solid and stable, monarchy can then perhaps be abolished if needed to be and it does take a long time for countries to become stable, look at Turkey for example, after 100 years of being a secular republic, Erdogan has turned it into an authoritarian Islamist country.

Pahlavi is the most popular political brand inside Iran and in the diaspora. The Pahlavi Shahs are the founders of Modern Iran. They built Iran's first modern infrastructures such as modern universities, hospitals, railways, highways, airways, and a modern national army/military. They abolished human slavery, tribalism, feudalism, clerical judiciary, and compulsory hijab. They, for the first time since the Arab/Muslim Invasion of Iran, empowered women by giving them back the right to personal autonomy, the right to divorce and to vote. The Shah took the lands from feudal landlords and gave them to the peasants and farmers. He made Iran a regional and world-stage power, Iran was controlling the energy dominance in the world while exporting natural gas to the Soviet Union, Oil to the West, and also buying energy resources such as the Rum Gasfield from the U.K. in Scotland. Iranian Imperial Army rescued Oman within a few weeks, from becoming the North Korea of the Middle East, during the Zoffar war. Most Westerners have no clue what the Shah and Pahlavis did for Iran. Now the new generations in Iran, want the exiled Shah Reza Pahlavi back home. Iranians have been chanting his name for years. #KingRezaPahlavi #TheSHAH #شاه_رضا_پهلوی ❤

Iam old enough to remember the time Reza Pahlavi's Dad was chucked out and they had to flee. Ialso remember seeing a picture of Reza as an 8 year old and 'seeing' his soul. Now he is an elderly adult and his aura has not changed, he has not changed; he is neither bitter nor unrealistically optimistic. He cares about the people, his family, his friends, in short, he cares about what makes us a true human and I just love him for it! I pray for Iran and the rest of the world to become peaceful....

The only people wanting the Monarchy back is some right wingers and those who left when his father ruled but even most of those I met do not want to be ruled by a King again. It would be a bad look to have the Crown Prince anywhere near power or the potential for power. Iran needs to become a Semi presidential system or Parlimentary system. The last Iran needs is a full Presidential system because too much power should never again be vested in 1 head of state in Iran.

Of all middleeastern countries iran to me has more potential than any other. They are an amazing civilization responsible for many inventions we enjoy. They are highly intelligent. Their country is full of resources and not just oil. They have gold, silver, minerals, agriculture, kaviar, oceans to the north and south, diversity...if they got rid of the regime they could establish a wine industry. Shiraz region has some of the best grapes in the world. Their literary rate is high. Women, contrary to popular belief, is half the college population. Enough with the theocratic fascists... allow Iran to show it's potential. A free Iran could send a shockwave throughout the middleeast and set an example.

This guy needs to be coached. He needs to say he wants the job, his whole life has prepared him for it. that he is the best possibility for a political reconstruction post-mullah of Iran. He seems too much like Adlai Stecenson, thoughtful, humble but not driven. He needs to be at the forefront and be willing to show a burning ambition. Without that no effort will be adequately focused.

I think this is the most important part of the interview. It is clear that the Prince does not want to be the Shah. He is quite honest and forward about it. He says, his vision is to be a civil leader in the post Islamist Iran and during the transition to democracy. That is great and answers many questions. As Patrick says, it opens the door for those who have ability and desire to come forward and lead the revolution and overthrow the Islamist terrorist regime. This is clearly not a role that the Prince can fulfill. Without the overthrow and downfall of the regime, there will never be a transition!

Am I wrong? The CIA and MI6 overthrew the democratically elected government in Iran because they wouldn't share their oil reserves? They gave the governing power to the Shah and had an agreement to share Iranian oil with the West. When that contract expired, the Shah decided to nationalize Iran's oil industry. The CIA and MI6 overthrew him because he didn't continue sharing Iranian's oil. The agencies then allowed the Ayatollah to take control? Am I wrong?
