As I see it, ultimately we are all God (God defined as the sum of all consciousness) at the highest level of our awareness, and as such we are the creators of everything that happens. In that sense we do create our own reality, as God is the only reality creator there is. But as humans we mostly experience only a fraction of who we really are (which, again, is God, or Cosmic Mind), and some of the things we create and manifest are created by this fraction of ourselves we're aware of, while others things are created by parts of ourselves we're not aware of, and these may overrule or contradict that which the smaller part is trying to create, e.g. to prevent something bad and unnecessary (some bad things may be "necessary" in the learning process) from happening or manifest whatever serves you better seen in a larger perspective. So to which degree we create our own reality I think is a matter of which part of ourselves - the total of our being - we identify ourselves with and experience ourselves as. Which part that holds the dominant vibration and desires which determine what is being created in our lives.
After entering phase 2 I decided to become a Mormon. It's fascinating to see if an invisible hand (Expanded Self/True Self) guides my life even in the new atmosphere. I am still wondering what the next 6 months will be like.
