Answering common questions about this video: Yes, Bear is really blind. (found dehydrated and almost dead as a stray kitten, most likely rejected by his mother. His eyes are not fully formed and are about the size of peas with no pupils. Cats are quite good at using their other senses to get around.) It is 2016, Kilroy is now 12 years old and he and Bear are still best buddies. Dobermans are wonderful dogs and extremely intelligent, but you should be a person who is willing to spend time training them. They HATE being alone. They are bred to be 100% devoted to their family, especially one person. Only get a Dobe if you plan to spend time training it and spending time with it. Kilroy cost $1500 back in 2004. Purchased from Joan Firestone, "Dedos Dobermans". Since the first few months I bought him I fostered 26 rescued dogs and cats and Kilroy was gentle and loving to each and every one of them.
