What's the difference between Dobot 1.0 and Dobot M1?
Dobot M1 is developped from 1.0, which is aim for self-employers or anyonw who wants to startup business at ease, while 1.0 is for makers to enjoy making pleasure. M1 brings more with higher precision, faster speed, wider working area and heavier payload.
Dobot Arm is an awesome product that brings the industrial-precision robotic arm to each maker's desktop.Its machinery accuracy is as high as 0.02mm, and the repeat precision reaches 0.2mm.Dobot is based on Arduino, and is made of aluminium alloy, with stepper motor driving. In other words, not only does Dobot work well with very low noise level, it looks well too.

Looks cool. Might I suggest securing your digital "dial" indicator base. In the video it's clear that the indicator body is moving and so the readings are likely erroneous. Good luck.

+Maxwell Moojw It is not an "Arduino project". The firmware is proprietary and the motors are driven by some custom board with FPGA (firmware for which has not been released either) + all no documentation was released regarding the electronics and schematics in use. So Arduino in the title is no more than a false advertising.

If you have any idea, tell me.... how can I get the exact "real-time 3D coordinate" of any object in space & by which sensor or camera? By Vicon or OptiTrack, can I get the "Real 3D coordinates of an object" in its range? help me, someone, ASAP..

Hi, this is amazing!. I am disabled and can't move my hand at all only 2 fingers so if this were to be adapted for disabled people it could turn their lives around. I can't even operate a mobile phone so to have a machine to do it for me would be life changing. I would like to help in anyway I could so if you ever need a disabled person please please get in contact. Simon

The robot arm looks very precise, congratulations! The film is well produced and kept my attention. It was a bit long, Kickstarter recommends that films be under 2 minutes, so you could edit it a bit. You should start the film with a more attention grabbing shot, like the typing or writing. It would be extra cool if you had it write characters in Chinese as well as English. I would change the wording "mental" to something else. Colloquially, in English, "mental" means mentally unstable. "Intelligent" or "smart" would be better choices.

This isn't anything special at all. The real "meat" of the robot would be some high quality accurate servos. The rest is simply mehanics and some basic, and I mean easily basic, programming. Definitely not worth the price being charged
