Out of all the championships contending Celtics teams I’ve been alive to witness I like this one least. Tatum is a cowardly lion. He has no heart. If the game is close to a semi decent team they lose. It’s gross. I can’t stand Tatum and Mazzulla. Both need to go. Tatum is a robin not a Batman. Not saying he saying he is a bad player I think he’s really good but he’s not a leader. He would be great on another team. He’s a bad fit and the Celtics FO gambled on making him the face of this team and they crapped out. They will never win a chip with Mazzulla and Tatum. Both gotta go.

I have never seen a coach in any sport ride their one title to so many different jobs. Everyone and their grandmother could've won the chip as a coach with that 08 Celtics team. That team was loaded. Doc Rivers is by far the most overrated coach of all time and it absolutely baffles my mind how he keeps getting work.
They were loaded and had a ton of heart unlike this years Celtics with Tatum the cowardly lion leading the team. Joe Biden could have coached that 08 Celtics team to a chip.
Cuz he's effectively way beyond just another coach in the NBA now, but rather a spiritual leader of all the black people of the league. Not giving him a job would be politically incorrect. And for americans political correctness comes before absolutely everything else like morality or common sense.
@@valjohnson7112i agree, many of these plays aren’t that horrendous. However, for players and coaches who are paid MILLIONS to do basketball, you would think you’d see more consistently sound defense. Theres quite a few plays in this video where the pacers get wide open looks that high school players could make.
Andre Jackson Jr. was playing ELITE Defense for the Bucks. When Doc Rivers was Forced to play AJax the Bucks suddenly came back from their 20pt deficit.. He was contesting everything. Altering shots forcing bad shots that were NOT going in. So after AJax works his ass off and Khris making Buckets to get us into Overtime what does Doc DO?? He SITS AJax!!! WHY YOU DUMMY??? WHY? Those 8 offensive rebounds by the Pacers in OT NEVER would of happened if Doc just let Ajax play in Overtime. If Doc doesn't use Ajax in the next game I hope he get's Sh't Canned after the season.

There are a LOT of NBA players who simply do not understand what they are supposed to be doing in a zone, which makes me think there are a ton of coaches who do not understand what is supposed to happen in a zone.
@@glswenson You might be right, but I'll add that I think a lot of times players dont try bc they dont want to look foolish - and have rationalized that if they pretend to not care, then it doesnt matter if they get burned. Like, that's Dame in a nutshell - if he just stands there, he looks disinterested, and people complain, but if he got low and tried, and showed everyone he SUCKS when he tries, he'd get mocked.

Well bucks are the oldest team in the league and Pacers play 2nd fastest Pace so they were tired as hell in OT. Same reason lakers can't beat the nuggets over a full 48 too old and the lakers don't have a bench.

Even in highschool my coach taught us never gaurd a man without the ball and always be in front of the ball on defense. If Middleton was behind the ball in help defense instead of hugging Siakim at half court then he couldn't have made that cut backfor the game winning floater.
