Joel Embiid really should not have called out Jokic for winning the MVP and doing nothing in the playoffs. Well, Jokic has now been to two conference finals whereas Joel Embiid has not been out of the conference semi-finals at all. I don't like boiling it down to a simple thing like that but that's what Joel decided to do and now has to pay the consequence
Honestly I’m not going to lie I was one of those ppl that said embid deserved an mvp but this season really opened my eyes and made me realize jokic really deserved it more and he’s more efficient and plays more games smh . He should forfeit the mvp trophy over
Doc Rivers has lost an NBA record 35 close out games. Rivers has lost an NBA record 10 series when leading 3-2. lost an NBA record, 10 game 7’s. lost a record 14 series when holding a series lead. Doc Rivers has blown more 20 PT leads in nba history. Worst coach in history
2010 loses a 3-2 lead NBA Finals 2012 loses a 3-2 lead Conference Finals 2015 loses a 3-1 lead 2nd Round 2020 loses a 3-1 lead 2nd Round 2021 loses as the favorite vs the Hawks 2023 loses a 3-2 lead 2nd Round And every single time Doc tries to deflect responsibility on himself like today trying to play the underdog card 😂 Harden, Embiid and Doc whose playoff resume is most embarrassing? I'd say Doc but he has the championship with the stacked Celtics that he's been living off of for 16 years. I almost want to see Doc keep getting good jobs because it's starting to get hilarious how bad his resume is.
Fire Doc Rivers. Doc Rivers when leading 3-2 in a series has lost 5 7 game series when leading 3-1 in a series has lost 3 7 game series. That is not a good thing for a coach to have on a resume Doc Rivers has lost 8 7 game series in his Carrer Fire Doc Rivers.
Been saying this for years doc river is the most overated coach in nba history doc is the only coach to coach the most super team in history lose leads

As a 76ers fan, I think today The Process is officially dead. We made excuses for every failure over the last 10 years, but today even the most hardcore 76ers fan is out of excuses. Glenn Rivers doesn’t deserve to coach in the NBA. Joel Embiid is a fraud and stole that MVP from Jokic. James Harden is washed. And the biggest clown is me for believing in this team
Get rid of Doc, get rid of Morey, release Harden and trade Embiid they'll do 3 of 4 they won't have the balls to trade Embiid and they will NEVER win a title with him he doesn't have it.
@@portlandgoose4727 2010 NBA Finals still haunts me today. We were up by 3-2 then it became 3-4. He was an overrated talkative coach. He is not on the same level with Red, Jackson, Popovich, Kerr and Spolestra. He is a joke
@@direkramseychikboy9102 and the Celtics got spanked by like 20 points in game 6 lol. that had to have sucked bad. I hate the Lakers with a passion. Diehard kings fan here 😅
@@catdaddy2287 the spurs front office has been exposed. they can’t put together a team. The only great player they drafted since the glory days was dejounte Murray and they sold him for an assload of picks that they probably won’t be able to hit on. the front office hasn’t given pop shit to work with
@@williamriffle8253 Yep. Three top 75 player, another Hall of Famer in Rondo, plus solid role players such as Rasheed Wallace, Sam Cassell, Stephen Marbury, and Tony Allen and has only one ring.
It’s crazy seeing Doc win a chip with the Celtics to leave in 2013 because he didn’t want to rebuild. Fast forward to the future and the Celtics been to both the conference finals and NBA finals multiple times and he hasn’t gone back once.
Brutal game for Harden. Keep in mind though, hes the reason Philly won games 1 and 4. He was a one man wrecking crew in game 1 and was HUGE down the stretch in a pivotal game 4. A game that gave the sixers confidence and momentum which carried over into game 5, a big game they took in Boston. Embiid came up small this afternoon, but he was not close to 100 percent this series, but still played well games 3-6. Harris for a guy who makes huge money played like garbage more or less the entire series, and Maxey is a young player who clearly is still finding his way. I thought getting Melton and Tucker were good gets for them, but Philly needs another good shooter who isnt getting owned on the defensive end. Phillys really close but the better team won this series. I think most Philly fans would agree. If Embiid doesnt sprain that ligament, his cardio and movement are better, the series and perhaps the outcome is different

I love Doc. My only complaint against him, is he should have put in Nate Robinson in the 4th quarter of Game 7 of the 2012 Finals against the Lakers, when no one playing on either team had energy. But Robinson (as was Tony Allen) was still fresh and had the chops to help close it out. Win or lose, I have always appreciated Doc's post-games.
I'm sick of this man, he doesn't adjust, he doesn't watch films cause we all know he don't put any effort in that, he doesn't know how to will his team or any team he's coached to win. Even if the players are playing awful you have to do find a way and we lost by a large margin in game 7. HE NEEDS TO GO IMMEDIATELY
One of his greatest failure was the 2010 NBA FINALS. Man Game 7 we were up in the 1st half but collapsed in the 2nd half. He did not do any adjustments when Perkins went down. He let Glenn Davis manned Gasol and Bynum. Out of shape Rasheed Wallace was out of shape. He did not used Michael Finley. Man he was an ass
Anyone who thinks the NBA is NOT rigged should watch this postgame interview. There’s not a single thing that Doc Rivers says here, that isn’t COMPLETE nonsense to people watching the games
Doc Rivers…. 2003: Blown 3-1 lead 2009: Blown 3-2 lead 2010: Blown 3-2 lead 2012: Blown 3-2 lead 2015: Blown 3-1 lead 2016: Blown 2-0 lead 2017: Blown 2-1 lead 2020: Blown 3-1 lead 2021: Blown 3-2 lead 2023: Blown 3-2 lead
This man deserves a lot of credit for his level 100 finesse ability that he’s maxed out, it’s given him invincibility from a bad reputation in the eyes of NBA owners. Truly a pro gamer.
I really don't know why this came to mind, but Doc Rivers seems like he would be a really cool Uncle vibe, you know like someone you would go fishing with and he would sneak you beer
Just here to see who Doc Rivers blames this time. It's never about him. HIs teams collapse every single year, year after year, no matter the talent... unless KG happens to be in the locker room. But Doc always has many fingers to point.
Softest answers from him. As a Celtics fan I still can see he made 0 adjustments after mazzula began starting Robert Williams and 0 adjustments during the game
Not his fault honestly. Their superstar Harden was a turnover machine tonight. Tobias is a waste of a max contract. Embiid is playing with a knee injury and simply couldn’t respond to the double team. Also, Celtics just have more depth and playoff experience.
if you honestly thought the offensive scheme was anything more than an aberration concocted by a deranged 7 year old, you really just don't know hoops. Doc Rivers is a moron. His idiotic scheme lost both games and he has the nerve to defend it. Lol you have the MVP and your stupid ass plan is to just not get him the ball?
If you are on the court, do not use the excuse that I am not playing well because I am injured. If you step on the court you are saying that you are ready and ABLE to play. Tobias Harris is not the problem. He was the 3rd or 4th scoring option. Doc highlighted the problem when he said: Embid is 7 ft. tall and plays like a guard. Well if you are 7ft tall go closer to the basket to get your shots and don't run near the logo to receive the ball with two seconds left on the shot clock and then have to heave up 30 footers. And Harden has never learned to play without dribbling the cover off of the ball. If a player cannot either shoot after 3 dribbles or be going in for a layup. the player should pass the ball. These present day coaches and players cannot seem to grasp the concept of moving without the ball. Keep the defense guessing!
@@cperry7267ANBFPro He’s not using that as an excuse but that’s the simple fact of the matter. His specific injury takes 4-6 weeks just to heal and he’s playing after less than 2 weeks into recovery - which also greatly affected his conditioning. Also, he’s a solid shooter but is just getting constantly double teamed, so he needs to be smarter with the ball and faster. Agree they need to move better off the ball, but even if Tobias is a 3rd or 4th option he doesn’t do nearly enough to warrant taking up all that salary cap. They just need to add more quality role players or move Harris for a real 3rd option if Harden decides to stay.
Honestly, if your GM had given you better shooters for Harden to pass to it could have been different. Philly needs to upgrade their shooting around James and Joel
He will be Friday by Monday. Hate to wee it. Russell westbrook and Jeri grant would help them a lot. I've never seen a team that gets to the hole and doesn't try to finish.
Did the 76ers really think they were going to go past the Celtics? That's like Philly thinking they were going to win the Superbowl. Philly sports do great during regular seasons and maybe a bit into post season, but that's as far as y'all go...c'mon y'all, get outta here with that shit...🤣
The flopping.. the flopping hurts him.. he gets hurt trying to get calls and falling to the floor 6-8 times a night… he should play thru the contact and try to get the bucket.. nobody that big should be hitting the floor that consistently
