Weird day out in the water. A lot fish, a huge fish, a potential big fish of the year, and I argued with some goofy old man about fishing near his dock.

I have been harassed by that same guy. I never understood the entitlement people think they have that you can't fish on public water because it butts up to their property.

I’ve fished that area before but this was my first run in with him. Couldn’t imagine living on the water and being mad ppl are fishing. Especially on such a popular body of water. There’s ppl everywhere out there

Cranky old people suck. Still a good day for you. Wow that one that got away was really nice. You got a great slo mo shot of him spitting the lure.😂. Seriously though I've had that happen and ended up spending weeks in therapy after.😊

Hahaha I didn’t used to be, but I have 4 kids, so It’s helped me get used to ppl acting like children. It sticks with me but I’ve been working on not letting this stuff ruin my day. Yeah the bay

Hahaha had a couple other people say they could feel the hurt in that one as well. It was brutal, but that’s how it goes sometimes.

It’s tough trying to keep my cool out there. Have zero patience for these fools. I really gotta work on not letting this kind of thing ruin the rest of my day. So hard to shake the mad feeling after this kind of interaction

Thankfully most of my favorite places have few or no docks. Its almost comical the amount of dock dorks you meet lol

Some people are just idiots. I tell them you don't own the water, I know the law and if you have a problem, call the police, the DEC or anyone you want and we can settle it that way if it makes you feel better. Or you could get a life.
