.....ppl with brains do.. 1. FAR, FAR less moving parts as opposed to a (petrol) chainsaw. 2. Only one consumable, the blade. With chainsaws you need blades, chains, fuel, oil, air filters. 3. No need for shitty wobbly saw benches where ideally you'd need another man. 4. Safe, no kickback or exposure to the cutting edge of the blade. 5. Less pollution, less stress on the body and your poor neighbors. How about that..
***** Which matters because?! I could throw 10 chainsaws away for the price of this piece of shit. You need electricity to power this thing, which means you also need a generator, or you have to drag the entire log to your house/barn. What saw benches? If something is wobbly, it's this piece of shit. You can see in the video the wood falls out, and the whole thing rocks. He isn't even cutting particularly large pieces of wood. You still need a chainsaw to cut the wood into small pieces to put onto that piece of shit... And if you cut anything bigger than a stick, like they did in the pick, you would need another person to put that thing onto the table. Fucking useless! Safer? That damn thing would need to be perfectly balanced or it would fall over. Less pollution my ass... Like I said, you cannot put big logs on it. PS: I really don't understand idiots that use wood for heat any damn way. It is incredibly inefficient, and the logs they are wasting could be milled and sold for thousands. Fucking morons... The fact you talk about pollution in a video about cutting firewood is almost laughable!
