"Her eyes, they're yellow 😰" Babe, she is COMPLETELY yellow, kinda don't have to see the eyes to notice that. 😂

poor kid... thats why i didn't want to become a doctor, because no matter how hard you try you still loose them. and the thought of telling a parent that their child is gone....

Same here, I find medicine fascinating and I am genuinely trying not to say this in a full-of-myself way, but I would be a good one especially working with the people (I have been told this and I just really understand them by putting myself in their shoes as far as I can) but I think my mental health would take too much of a toll because I wouldn't be able to separate my job from my life due to how heart-wrenching some cases could be.

i second that.......i wouldn't have the stomach to deal with the blood, the news of telling someone their family member die, or fighting to save someone's life. its like they always say leave your emotions at the door, but i can understand how hard that is, you can't run from the feeling of desperation, and most importantly time. Time is one thing we can never run from

@robynsmith6974 I feel like that's only with ED docs. Family doctors, for example, don't typically deal with life/death situations

Neurosurgery is the biggest chosen options for a psychopath or sociopath's jobs. You can see no emotion what so ever on Abrams face when the child dies and when he recommends brain surgery

I agree. I've been a neuro patient my whole life and mine has always been nice though, so I'm lucky, but I can see where you're coming from. It requires nerves of steel and leaves little room for emotions.

I so sad for that little girl that didn't make it. Its devastating. but is the Ethical/professional/right/appropriate for a doctor to have so much attachments and affection for a patient! That's supposed to be/become their weakness when something happens to the patients just as shown in the video!!!

He understands that his daughter is dead and doesn't want them to keep going when it's pointless and will not bring her back. If you've ever had to go through that with a loved one then you probably wouldn't judge him like you are. No amount of compressions was going to bring her back when she's asystole

this episode made me laugh. Very unrealistic. Most American children can barely read and write let alone know off the top of their heads what Hodgkinson's lymphoma is, and getting hands on HeLa cells is laughable.
