You are so patient and understanding and the fact you’re listening to your viewers and putting us all at ease is very thoughtful of you. I used to follow a different doctor (He called himself mellow) but he stopped making asmr content a few years ago and got rid of that content. I’ve become a fast fan of your “appointments” and demeanor since I found you a few months ago. You’re filling the void I didn’t realize I had.
You can really tell the passion for medicine he has. I don’t really have doctor anxiety, but this helps prevent it as well. Also having this explained to me is nice because not only am I reemphasizing why drs are safe, but I’m learning as well. Thank you
Hey Dr Adam ive been watching you quite a while now. I am from the UK. I am Autistic, and find it extremely difficult to communicate with my doctors surgery, i get very overwhelmed trying to even book an appointment. You have made me understand a lot more about the medical equipment and why you use it, and what it is for. Thank you , i wish we could have an understanding doctor like you here in the UK.
Now that you mention you've always made me curious to how consolidation sounds like with the "EEE" and "99" tests you've performed before would be interesting to hear that thanks 😊
I don't think it had much of an effect. My left ear audibly clicked within the first 7 minutes of listening. It was super relaxing and I will keep at it
This is amazing. Not only is it relaxing but also informative and educational. I know now what my GP is doing/looking for and it makes the process less complicated and I know what's happening and also making it easier for him. Wanted to know about the blood pressure cuff for so long! Can't wait to get mine checked
So, the handle and the pointed side of the reflex hammer were both explained, but does the broader, flatter end of a reflex hammer have a use? I've always wondered, as I've never seen it used before.
for me, it's the unique nature of the human connection that makes me nervous when I see my doctor. all the knowledge of the physical workings of those visits wouldn't take away my nerves. though I think that may be for the best, being alive and emotionally open means feeling anxious and nervous from time to time. I hope I never stop feeling as though human connection is the most precious thing in my life.
I think this kind of content is fantastic. It’s entertaining and educational. Dr. James Gill makes very similar videos (i.e. explaining a thyroid exam). Would love to see you answer questions about med school.
