I’ll be honest though I’m not sure exactly how either of these things is supposed to be all that insulting. Also Don Henley actually played on a Steely Dan record so they couldn’t have hated each other all that much. In fact he actually nearly played on two, but Fagan and Becker replaced him on the first because he couldn’t play the part the way they wanted.
