This was when eastenders was eastenders, now it's just meaningless trash. Like the Bill which was sadly slowly wrecked and taken off the air eastenders is just a shadow of its former self. I just don't get what people see in it these days. But if they are content watching X-factor "x-factory" and strictly come dancing I'm not surprised eastenders still has a following....so sad.

Some people love to watch depressing tv. I can only assume it's to make themselves feel better about their lives if they can sit there and watch the current miserable show it is today.

it looks like most of the cast genuinely fear standing out especially early on...you're more better off watching eastenders during 1993 than what is presented here.
