OMG! I grew up in NYC, and as many know, NYC is cockroach central. No matter how clean your home is, you will deal with roaches. Hell, Donald Trump has roaches in his NYC penthouse. Anyway, when I was 17, I woke up with a pretty bad ear ache, so I went to the doctor. Turned out a freaking roache crawled into my ear and got stuck in there!! That was 34 years ago, and I no longer live in NY, but I still sleep with ear plugs!
For this reason I keep my long hair and keep it over my ears 100% of the time. I NEVER tuck it behind my ears because I'm afraid something will get in them! 😂
I had a bug crawl into my ear once. The hour before it flew out again was one of the absolute weirdest hours of my life. I called an on call nurse and she said “ maybe it will fly out on its own” I could hear its little wings struggling inside my skull. 10/10 would not recommend…
