I am an aesthetician. You get blood on nearly all waxing the first time. I don’t use that hard wax. I use honey wax that I place cloth strips over and pull the opposite direction to how the wax was applied. Which was the same direction that the hair grows. Blood drops aren’t really something that you can stop. Some people are just more sensitive and have really good circulation. It wasn’t any more painful for him than ripping the wax off was. Unless he went and put alcohol on it afterwards. Which they would have warned him not to do. No scrubbing or adding anything except the oil or lotion they use afterwards for 24 hours. Otherwise you can irritate the skin and cause infection.
OMG , I'm a licensed esthetician and everything she did was wrong and dangerous for him. If this is her business she should have her license revoked. She could have really hurt him.
Thank you!! There was a comment i made where I shared my frustration n desire that there be better training for waxing for men. Then this person, who disagreed with me said They were experienced in the matter n added it has to be fast or else it would hurt more. I dont agree however. i was trying to find a video that properly explained the process. With one video, The person doing a demonstration: did the one nostrils twice with hard wax. Two different sections of the inner nostrils, n each time, applied a peasize of the wax, and held the bridge of the nose when pulling. Controlled, quick, not excessive as if getting off on seeing the clients reactive to pain.
@@sukuntee yes that's actually the correct way to do it, small sections and quick but firm hold on the skin. If you're going to do the nostrils it's also good to hold their forehead so that they don't thrash forward. I would never wax someone's head though even if they wanted to be bald. The root of head hair is similar to pubic hair it's very big compared to the root. It's super painful and can be very damaging.

@@sukuntee I'm not much of a tech person but I've been thinking of making skin care and waxing videos so that people know how to do it properly and on their own if they'd like. But the industry is so oversaturated on you tube and there's so many conflicting views it's hard to teach people when it's so easy to be attacked because someone disagrees. It can be a scary place on here lol.
Absolutely!!! The wax would set too quickly applying this much and when that happens it does hurt worse when removed. I don’t understand why people are doing entire faces or heads.
@@sj7302I think some people are masochists and like pain to some degree. Why people would use bdsm in their love life, pain must give them some sort of sexual pleasure. It's probably not the case here, maybe time factor, it's faster this way, but the guy has a good pain tolerance for sure.
Nose hair is an important part of your body's defence system. It helps keep dust, allergens, and other small particles from entering your lungs. Also, I'd warn against nose hair waxing altogether to avoid the risk of inhaling toxins and particles, irritating the nasal membranes and creating ingrown hairs.
I did my back once. I had blood in every pore for 2-3 weeks, and the hair started growing back. I never got to go outside without a shirt and benefit from the waxing. That was the first and last time.
You CANNOT go slow and give breaks between waxing. This allows Adrenalin to fade and pain to set in. You want to finish it all immediately for the least amount of pain.
I'm a licensed esthetician and I'm sorry but that's very incorrect. If you keep going fast and the pain is too much you can cause arythmia which is exactly what you don't want. Pulling quick in small sections is what you need to do. This is an awful technique and she should have her license revoked.

For everyone saying she’s being rude and mean by going fast, I can tell you right now, you DONT want the person waxing you to go slow. The faster the better 😂 Edit: some of the replies are actually so funny and sensitive. I’m not the one waxing him or the one getting waxed, and neither are y’all, so getting so heated over a video is actually the funniest thing I’ve seen 😂
You might want to save those for after that’s like wearing a coat before going outside, doesn’t help much if you get used to the feeling of comfort before going through pain
As a former aesthetician I can assure you that when you wax someone this shouldn't be happening period. Regardless of what type of wax you use. This isn't the correct way to wax. You do medium sized areas of wax and do them individually one at a time as you go to prevent the wax from sitting too long on the skin. The longer it sits and the larger amount/ area of wax there is and if the wax is too hot when applied the more it'll hurt and the more it'll cause redness to the skin and or bleed. So if this is happening to you with your clients, you're not doing it correctly. I worked at wax places and spa's. Given max amounts in tips. Simply for giving them a good mostly painless experience. My comment is only to educate not belittle so I'm hoping it doesn't come off that way. But truly this isn't okay. Unless this is the experience he/ they all wanted for shock value.
Yeah I'm confused by the people backing this. I get you need to quickly pull it off but shouldn't it at least be in sections and Not one giant piece of wax?
Should have mentioned also that ripping out his nose hairs, his body has lost a natural filtering system until (and if) the nose hairs grow back. He's probably gonna get sick.
Idk I have to cut mine real short. They grow back withing a few weeks for me and I hate it cause it cause it tickles me nose when the hair is too long.
@adamaref9047 them still being there but shorter is way different then having the root of the hair pulled out especially to the point of bleeding. All that does is create a port of entry forbinfection. Also that area is in the triangle zone which can be very dangerous for blood infections.
Not to mention the risk of ingrown hairs in your nose. They're not only incredibly, insanely painful, they can get infected. An infection anywhere on or in your nose is not good. Doctors call it the zone of death, because the infection is so close to the blood-brain barrier. I knew someone who had an ingrown nose hair that turned into a massive infection. The hair grew all the way to the other side, and became a cyst on his nose.
Whether it’s strip wax or hard wax you always work in small sections. I notice more cosmetologists do this than estheticians. When I was in school for esthetician the Cosmo instructor asked me to go into her classroom to teach them how to use hard wax because they burned themselves and the wax was way too watery.
It looked like she almost ripped his ear away from the scalp. I think that’s where the blood was coming from. It doesn’t take much strength as your ear is only held by skin. She should be fired and license revoked for being so reckless with his ears, let alone everything else.
As a Cosmo who performed waxing services in the salons I've been employed, it isn't rocket science... You aren't cool because you taught them how to do it. 😂 They sound like a dumbass group of students if they needed you for help to wax.
She's good. It needs to be done as fast as possible. When you're slow, the fear and pain sets in and that's just the worse. I had one awful experience in a salon where this lady kept taking her time, then reapplied in the same area, again. It was my second experience, the first experience was also not too good but at least that lady dint torture me like the second lady. It was not fun and for a while I just stuck to shaving. Now I started waxing again, but I do it at home and at the pace I want to go, and it's so much more painless and fast.
I admit, id have fun with that too. I used to get Brazilians and that hurt almost as much. You need to remove the wax fast ot no hair comes out. Waxing is not a gentile practice.
They would never pull off sections this large at once. Besides, hair grows in different directions and wax has to be applied and removed in relation to that. This has to be an esthetician he has a relationship with just for shock value.
Considering what he went through and considering the ears and especially the nose with absolutely no recovery time in between he was great! He took it like a real man! He was awesome and he didn't get angry or show any aggression in general. He's a good sport and great character and attitude.
