For the record, I know you don’t usually, but I will never complain about y’all re-watching a trailer. Go for it! Always fun to watch, especially with stuff like this!
Elizabeth Olsen crushed that, "That doesn't seem fair" line. The best villains are ones you empathize with. And she is going to put us through the wringer.
YES ! I kind of don't like Wanda becoming a vilain because I love that character so much, BUT Elizabeth Olsen is going to be so good at it that I'm not too mad XD
"What If...?" is 100% required. You can see Captain Carter's shield on one of the glass fragments on the poster. Man, Wanda is gonna rip the multiverse a new one trying to get her kids. The multiverse Illumanti (Tom Cruise Tony Stark variant maybe?) is not ready.
@@kotabear6556 he’s not a cult leader he was manipulated by a cult nobody knows who the leader of the Scientology cult are but it’s definitely not a successful actor
The way Wanda delivered that line about "it not being fair"... I've rewatched the trailer itself at least 20 times, watched 30 different reactions and I still have chills when I see that scene. She's going to be a phenomenal villain and something tells me that while Cumberbatch is the star, she's going to steal the whole movie.
Never thought Wanda would be a great addition to the team of avengers when we saw Age of Ultron.. Wanda vision totally pulled out everything to prove that Marvel can do it again and again even after endgame. And wanda vision was just the tip of an iceberg... I also did not really think the second part of Dr Strange would really involve so many people in.. I was only thinking that Iron man could do something here and there... But Dr strange has become the standing pillar to carry out all the remaining Marvel characters.. Spiderman, now wanda and we can hear Patrick stewart talking so definitely X men are in... which means we have Wolverine :)
I think that's what the reshoots were about. Olsen KILLED it after WandaVision & they probably rewrote bigger parts for the Scarlet Witch. OOooOOOh we are really in for MADNESS come May!!!!!
Most likely not, as in the original trailer Mordo calls Strange "The greatest threat to the multiverse" so at the end it's probably gonna be some team up against a dark strange variant
Professor X leading the Illuminati, Monica Rambo as Variant Captain Marvel, Tom Cruise as Variant Ironman, Sinister Strange, Evil Wanda, and What If's Zombies, this is going to be EPC !!!!
Not gonna lie when Adam said, "Here's the actual trailer for Dr. Strange and Multiverse of Madness," I heard, "Here's the actual trailer for Dr. Strange is off his meds" which honestly I think could also work as the title for the film
Getting No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness back-to-back is nuts considering 10 years ago Marvel’s most ambitious movie was just Avengers. Just in the last year there’s been a lot set up, waiting to see how or if Kang plays into this. And I know it wasn’t everyone’s favorite but Eternals did also set up a Celestial threat as well.
Jay is right. That was absolutely Patrick Stewart's voice. And also, what if in another universe, the Ultron program worked according to plan and that's Stark tech escorting Strange?
Honestly I was kinda one of those guys where I didn’t necessarily doubt Marvel past Endgame but I did go into Phase 4 with the mindset that it was gonna be like Phase 1 In the sense where it would be the phase to help build the universe back up from scratch and while there has been a lot of that I was not expecting the level of Multiversality we’d be exploring with it either
If we start really bringing the X-Men into the MCU, with their own movies and etc, I may literally die of happiness. X-Men were always my favorite heroes but the movies were trash, so imagine seeing them through a well written script!
@@erikperhs_ honestly the biggest problem with the fox x-men movies I always had is beyond the original trilogy they could never get their timelines figured out
If we remember Mordo's talk in the first trailer, that Strange himself is the biggest threat to the multiverse, and we have that final scene with a version of dark Strange dealing with some inner monsters, it's hard for me to consider Wanda the enemy, at least for now. BTW, is "nightmare" mentioned just as another Disney name-dropping technique or...?? WTF
I'm imagining the movie starting and early on Strange is taken to the Illuminati, and charged with the task of bringing in his evil self that WAS on the Illuminati, but turned evil... or as he likes to say... "things just got out of hand". I think Strange will ask Wanda for her help to stop himself, but once they do Wanda realizes she can get her kids back, decides to go rogue, and becomes the enemy.
4:15 Adam’s mind was literally blown that it went to a different plane of existence and rightfully so. This movie looks literally beyond insane and I am SO READY FOR IT!!!!! Also….that music was so perfect.
We've already agreed that Strange has gotten better in other movies, but I think we'll also see that Mordo has gotten better. At the end of the first movie he seemed over the top, taking magic from a guy that used only to heal himself. Now after all the mess made by Wanda and Dr Strange, his motives seem to be much more plausible. Other than that the new look is great.
Honestly, the thing I'm excited about most in this movie is the Illuminati. I'm really hoping they bring back older versions of the characters, like they've done in NWH. Say what you want about their movies/TV shows... but bringing back 2005 Reed Richards and 2017 Black Bolt would just be amazing. The actor for Black Bolt really does deserve another chance at the role under different writing, because the man was dedicated enough to create a sign language for his character.
About the Wanda dialogue thing - the whole point is that she’s not, people keep calling her a villain even though guys in the mcu have done much worse things and we’re still called heroes. It’s not fair, she said it herself
People are gonna come after you for this ,but i partially agree with you but also with them , Stephen so far has done everything with the intention of helping others , Wanda enslaved a town to escape her pain , but i empathize with her and i understand that she did it subconsciously she didn't understand her powers and was shocked to see people were in pain , but she also denied it when vision confronted her and that Monica line was awful , but i also don't understand what people say when they talk about no consequences other than the Monica line , were the FBI supposed to capture a witch ?, i love Wanda she's my favorite but what she did and what Stephen did are different , but let's not forget this is a trailer so this was probably out of context maybe Stephen did something selfish here maybe she's talking about something else
@@micow9951 first of all, I know, I'm in anime fandoms sexist dude bros don't scare me but thank you. Second, I do agree that doctor strange spasificly doesn't work the best for this analogy but the point still stands. Some people go harder on any minority and will justify the acts of white cis man till the ends of the earth and these people are very loud and annoying but they're allergic to logic so it's fine. Thank for the food for thought
Hawkeye and Blackwidow were hitmen/assassins... but that was also in secret. No regular people know about that. Wanda has a whole suburban community of people held hostage, trapped in dream like state of dread that are more than willing to be like screw that girl.
Well the hero characters (even though I dislike some of them and this is Marvel so consequences are not a thing) that did bad or questionable stuff did it because they had good intentions. Wanda never did. I still dislike her ever since Age of Ultron. Like, possessing the Hulk and sending him on a civilian population is a big no-no for me. Joining Ultron just for revenge against Stark (which itself makes no sense). And she mentally enslaved an entire town to live out her fantasy. If the leaks are true, and judging from the trailers they most likely are. Wanda will definitely go full psycho villain and there will be no justification for the things she is about to do.
Definitely also got the Doctor vibe from that one shot. It was already in the teaser. Where they stand in the BLUE door and you have a literal Doctor with Christine and the new girl behind him, just floating through the multiverse with a room behind them that's bigger on the inside? Yeah it's just like a Tardis shot :D
I'd like to say that the Illuminati isn't ALWAYS the same people and there were 6 or 7 members (6 seats but Xavier already has his own lmao). I'd like to see a Xavier, Namor, Reed Richards, ('good' Killmonger or Dr Doom to replace T'challa), Black Bolt, and Tom Cruise Iron Man who has a good Ultron AI? Also yeah, What If?... is required, the poster shows Captain Carters shield and the TV spot showed zombie Wanda (and this trailer showed.... zombie AND evil Strange?). Gonna be a crazy movie.
The last episode of Moon Knight will be out the day before the first showings of Multiverse of Madness. So MY question is, will there be any fun crossovers, like the reveal of Dinofrio's Kingpin in Hawkeye the day before Cox's Matt Murdock in No Way Home? Moon Knight was in West Coast Avengers, so this could mean another appearance of Hawkeye, but especially given the context of the film, White Vision. But there is also apparently a Midnight Sons I never read, that has Moon Knight, Dr. Strange, and BLADE (who we last heard speaking to Dane Whitman in the post-credits of Eternals), among others, being superheroes fighting off supernatural baddies.
@@JoshieboyStudios I'm with you. I'm just talking about the last episode that comes out the day before the film. So either a final scene or a post-credits scene, which then gets referenced in a Dr Strange post-credits scene, like both having Blade and the Dark Knight in them.
@@warhawk_yt That was my point in the OP. The week the show and film overlapped was the week *before* the finale, and they did--with the reveal of a Netflix Daredevil actor in one and another Netflix actor in the other. I'm hoping for that same sort of overlap this time, only more extensively. E.g. (purely my own speculation), Moon Knight and Werewolf by Night make up by the end of the finale; the post-credits scene brings them together with Blade; then the next day a Dr. Strange post-credits scene has him and Wong bring them together to form the Midnight Sons, including Morbius.) I also suspect a Deadpool tie-in.
It feels like the first time they've actually put Sam Raimi's name up there for everyone not in the know to see which is a little odd considering what a big deal that is. This is the first trailer that really brings that horror element to the forefront so I'm getting more excited by the day. I just hope they manage to stick the landing because there are some amazing images on display. It's now a question if it all fits together into a satisfying whole.
The main thing I love about Marvel is how meticulous they are with their planning. Moon Knight has 6 episodes. So the schedule should go like: Wednesday, March 30th Wednesday, April 6th Wednesday, April 13th Wednesday, April 20th Wednesday, April 27th Wednesday, May 4th Then boom Multiverse of Madness! On the 6th 🙌🏾🙏🏾
What this version of the trailer doesn't show but was seen in the one that ran during the Super Bowl last night was a close-up of Zombie Strange's face. As if we needed further confirmation that "What If?" will play a major role in this film.
I absolutely agree about Dr Strange. I wasn't crazy about him in his own movie but the character has flourished in all the other films., One reason I was happy to see the original director drop out.
Ditto. I was watching TBOBF and thought he had caught the Dr Strange syndrome - appears way cooler in other people's movies/shows/stuff than in his own.
The only show I need to try and watch before this comes out is wandavision. I have been having a very hard time trying to watch it. I have tried a couple times and can never get through the first episode. I have seen all the other shows.
@@warhawk_yt it starts out slow but if you can try to stick with it you’ll be pleasantly surprised :) I didn’t like it at first but going back and watching clips from the show made me enjoy it more.
Some have speculated that the red ribbony/mummy looking monster holding Chavez is Cyttorak since his/its form looks like it's made up of the same ribbons from Strange's "Crimson bands of Cyttorak" spell he used against Thanos (the glowing red ribbons he used to grab on to the gauntlet).
I wonder if the villain Nightmare plays a part, they talk about his bad dreams and say "the nightmare begins". With thousands of different heroes and villains within the Marvel extended universe, I could make associations all day with different clues they may or may not be dropping, so it may not have anything to do with that bad guy.
If you haven't seen " what if"....go watch it lol Honestly, I think strange tried to either fix something or tried to control something that either he did or Wanda did (her hidden agenda to get her kids). And at a certain point Wanda looks like she did something she wasn't suppose too. I think the result of Loki's variant, Spider-Man's incident, etc. Changed something Everytime the multiverse was tampered until whatever happen it tore the multiverse up. And I maybe wrong but I think when they closed the portal in Spider-Man; just like the Supreme said, they don't know what came through that portal or stayed. It's already off balance. Moon knight!!!!! Yeeeesss finally...someone is doing moon knight!!!!
The Dr Strange trailer was absolutely epic!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 you’re absolutely right there is so much in the trailer 🤯🤯 I’m so glad you guys played it again 😉😂
Now you get why the discord channels BLEW UP last night! It was a fun time being there and freaking out with people who also love you guys and marvel. If you haven't already you gotta come join us over there!
You can tell it's Professor X before Patrick Stewart's voice line comes in. If you notice the shot at 6:52 when Strange is walking into the room with the chairs, someone is sitting in the chair to the left (who I'm assuming will be Reed Richards) and then on the right is the silhouette of Xavier in his wheelchair. It also kinda looks like another Doctor Strange is walking behind them before the shot switches to show our Strange's face
Idk if you guys will ever see this, but I absolutely love your channel, and the humor and quips you guys bring to this reaction machine. I've been watching since you had 15k subs. Been a fan a long time. But your humor is what makes it for me. On my down days when I'm feeling depressed and sad, I watch your reaction videos because your light-heartedness and humor makes me feel a little better, if only for a split time. Keep it up guys, can't wait to see more and the growth your channel deserves.
I'm really excited as to what kind of trippy visual sequences we'll get with this movie. I feel like there something, or someone else that supposed to be reflected back at Wanda's eye but they edited it out.
Strange has a history of being the "villain"/ruins everything in his own stories (Dr Strange and What If...), I think it's safe to say that trend will continue in Multiverse of Madness. As for Wanda, she will absolutely use this Multiverse situation to her advantage in an attempt to seek out Billy and Tommy. But let's all keep in mind that she is more powerful than Strange and therefore will be needed to fix all of this in the end 🖤
I’ve enjoyed and appreciated your reactions for so long. I didn’t know it would take the comparison of The Silmarillion to the book of Numbers to hit subscribe😂 Thanks for sharing your reaction!🦸♀️
If you notice, when strange visits Wanda in the beginning, it’s a green field but when she had that dialogue with strange about how she’s the enemy, it’s all burned down around them. She had up an illusion, also the sheep in the background in the beginning don’t move, just like in westveiw certain people were standing still in her hex
Guys. Variants. Illuminati. Professor X. Tom Cruise as Variant Superior Iron Man. What If is required viewing. Loki and WandaVision all required. Take a close look at the new poster. Captain Carter is even shown there. This film is packed. Save from another Covid variant, this is the movie to get me back to theaters.
6.4K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍 Thanks for the fun digital video recording! 😎🖖 Oh, so the new, "Lord of the Rings", movie is based on an actual book, but it isn't a novel? 🤔 But anyway, I enjoyed both previews, so thanks for that too! 🎉🎊
Unless I am HIGHLY incorrect, the villain is going to be a dream demon named Nightmare. Nightmare has the ability to capture a person's astral form and take it over, which is what I suspect happens with Wanda and others.
Yeah Moon Knight, Rom , Strikeforce Moriarti were not very well known comics...I mean I know a little about Moon Knight...I just remember his psychotic brother killing nurses to make Nephytite**? more powerful...(being a nurse I was all...mouth agape) I'm surprised Marvel hasn't done a Strikeforce Moriarti movie...from what I recall ...there is an alien invasion...and they take terminally ill people and inject them w the 'Moriarti Serum' which gives them a random superpower(gives them a last chance to be a hero before their body deteriorates from cancer etc etc)...but highly volatile...like one character has the power to absorb solar rays and shoot them and he implodes during a battle taking out like 10 city blocks...along w aliens etc etc...
so the new Dr Strange 2 Trailer, the Tv Spot, and the new released poster showed us the following: 4 Dr. Stranges 3 Scarlet Witches Ultrons Captain Marvel America Chavez Nightmare Shuma-Gorath Rintrah (the minatour) Illuminati featuring Professor X Captain Carter
I went down this rabbit hole the 1st 6 times I watched Dr. Strange MOM, the X-men, Fantastic Four, Young Avengers really coming together, the illuminati, the ultimates, etc... mind blown & that was just a trailer.
So fun fact with kind of a spoiler, on the new poster for this movie with strange surrounded by all the breaking glass, if you zoom in on the bottom right there is a shard of glass with captain carters shield and if you zoom in on the upper left side there is another shard to glass with Deadpool going like this 🤫
I got super excited when I heard Patrick Stewarts voice man also I think we are going to see a variant of Iron Man in this movie because the robots that capture strange their designs are based on superior Iron Man who is rumored to be played with Tom Cruise if marvel pulls that off then marvel has pulled off a miracle with both this movie and Spider-Man no way home
“Dormammu” looking face toward the start are the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak (Strange uses them to bind people or grab them… he used them on Thanos during Infinity War) Multi-hands thing at the end is a zombie version of Strange (more apparent in the TV spot), probably using the power of the Darkhold If you enjoy Doctor Who, you should definitely check out BigFinish for their audio dramas with past doctors, including Christopher Eccleston. And spin-offs with Torchwood, UNIT, River Song and The Master
Y’all have to check out the poster for it too you see Captain Carter’s shield and you see Deadpool in one of the shattered glass pieces too I’m so hyped
That description of the internal rabbit hole Jay ran down while Adam was talking... yeah, I can't count the amount of times in a day I go thru the same thing.
One thing that a lot of people missed is that during the dinosaur/cube face scene, they're going into a friggin CARTOON after that! Check it out in super slow motion. Also there's speculation that the flaming character might be a Monica Rambeau version of Captain Marvel.
I don’t know if you guys saw but before the game there was a tv spot for MoM that showed Wanda and Strange as zombies, so it looks like this movie might canonize not just episode 4 of What If…? but episode 5 as well. In fact the end of the trailer looks like it’s showing zombie Strange doing his shadow clone jutsu thing
The one with the Sword in the Illuminati Chamber was Mordo- he had a sword on his back, my theory is he is either the S Supreme of his universe and thus on the Illuminanti or he is one of their Enforcers
I don't think I've ever seen Adam make a wider array of faces processing what he's taking in than when he watched this trailer! Another great reaction guys!
Strange Supreme from "What If" is definitely in this. That looked like his prison in his collapsed universe when he said "Things kind of got out of hand" Than in the end that was him using one of the creature powers when he had alll the multiple hands.
FYI... * the in-game Dr. Strange tv spot has ADDITIONAL footage that wasn't in the full trailer * the "good Kang" going against Kang the Conqueror was Iron Lad in the comics, a member of Young Avengers
The cow-headed figure could be Bova, who raised Wanda and Pietro in Wundagore in the comics, which would be a nod to the High Evolutionary. Or maybe it's referencing an alternate universe version of Wanda?
The big thing America is facing near the beginning looked like the old Marvel collectible card for the villain Cobweb, a villain in (of all things) the little-remembered Sleepwalker comic (about a guy with insomnia who ends up sharing his body with a being from the realm of dreams, with reality-altering powers in the waking world). Cobweb was a demonic being that lived in the Mindscape, a realm sort of overlapping with the astral plane and world of dreams, who wanted more influence in the physical realm and could only get it by causing people’s ability to differentiate between reality and imagination to degrade: he wanted to spread madness and hallucinations, while Sleepwalker’s folks tried to keep the Mindscape in order. Considering that it seems like Nightmare may be appearing, I wouldn’t be shocked if they took some design from Cobweb for a monster, if nothing else.
Strange is wearing the same clothes in the scene with Wanda in the garden as he is with Scarlet Witch in that weird kind of burnt forest background so one of those is an illusion.
That person flying towards Wanda may have been either Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel variant or Tom Cruise Superior Iron Man variant. Also there's a clue in the poster for Dr Strange MoM where you see Captain Carter's shield. She may be part of this multiversal Illuminati. And you're right. It's okay not to know everything I just recently read Moon Knight graphic novel couple years ago.
