Omw Dr. V thank you so much. Skin functional just came out with a new range for us South Africans and they brought out their 2% Ceramide and Gaba moisterizer in a AIRLESS PUMPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!! They heard youuuuu!!!!!!!They also brought out there "Retinol" product in an AIRLESS PUMP I am so happy!!!

They've actually improved the Alpha Arbutin serum. It now also has Niacinamide, Kojic Acid and Tranexamic Acid. I'm looking forward to trying it out

I was wondering if you can please please talk about THIAMIDOL, which as you probably know is a new tyrosinase inhibitor used in Eucerin’s even pigment range. Is it worth it? Goodness cant believe this. And I'm so happy our 🇿🇦 products are being reviewed. I use the niacimide every two months and the results are fantastic. Just disappointed in their daily moisturizer. If I don't use sunscreen after moisturising I am left a tad dry

Dear Dr V. Thank you veeeeeryyy much for the review. I ordered the Ordinary Alpha Arbutin, Niacinamide, Retinod and could not get vitamin c, worse packaging in some of them looked very old and it was like they were lying somewhere and not taken care of. Is it advisable to change to Skin Functional since they have all what your layering requires for pigmentation? Thank you Thulile South Africa

Dr. V can you please make a acne scar treatment I am currently using The Ordinary Azelic Acid Suspension 10% every night along with Mandelic Acid 10% + HA 2x a week ( I am waiting until the fall 2021 to start micro-Needling my scars) I am seeing a reduction in appearance but if I stop using these 2 products will my acne scar be more noticeable?

I would love to get your input on ingredients in hair products! Specifically curly hair products. I know your focus is black and brown skin (I’ve learned so much! Thank you!) and since many of us also have curly hair, I thought I’d throw this out to you too. For example, glycerin is very confusing and some influencers try to explain how it can be effective in humid climates but maybe not so in dry climates, etc. It reminds me of what you’ve told us about HA taking moisture from skin instead of the air, if it isn’t followed by a fatty moisturizer. So I think that you might be the person to help us understand hair products ingredients! Please! And thank you again for all that you teach us 💗

Sometimes the products you recommend for us it's a hassle to get them here in SA and can be very costly to ship from Amazon.
