Missy doesn't die and continues on her journey of becoming Goood, In the Season 11 opener 'Nanny' Missy and the doctor travel back in time and to prove herself she poses as a nanny naming herslf Mary Poppins, hijinx ensues as Missy Poppins attempts to (under the hilarious guidance of the Doctor) rid a family of an incorporeal alien possession that is influencing the children into being very naughty with the odd death occuring.
personally I don't know why some people are saying that the next doctor HAS to be a woman. Why does it HAVE to be a woman? The show has been going strong for 50 years will male doctors so why is it different now? I just don't get it. We don't HAVE to have a woman playing the next doctor? Sure it will be cool if the next one is but the sky isn't going to fall upon us if it is another guy.

I think Hamish would be a great Doctor. This Nurse Who character grates on me. If people want a female Doctor then why not just have a spin off series? Why risk the tradition?
no don't the role of the doctor always suits a man I have nothing against women but men just suit it better the doctor has always been a man it suits it
no their saying that it would be dumb if a woman played James bond it wouldn't make sense and that the BBC is not willing to play the doctor as in the timelord
Peter Capaldi is a great actor. He COULD have been a great Doctor. But he wasn't. Why not...? He was given generally bad scripts for most of his tenure. He was stripped of any dignity by being given 'sonic shades' and made to wear 'hoodies' and T-shirts, all of which made a man in his late 50s (who looks older) look sad and laughable. And the guitar playing didn't help either. Some of these ideas may well have been his. Either way, he looked ridiculous. He had his moments, but generally he will not be well remembered within a few years. The End.
I am not agest woman. it will never work for a woman to play as the doctor. I think the doctor should be nick from my family to be the new doctor. I don't mind missy. But if they diside to have the female doctor. I would like to say bye to doctor who as I will keep watching all 12 doctors.
I am a girl and I total agree with this the doctor should allways be a guy because it's a guys role I mean it's the truth and plus the master was a boy and regerated to and girl and now call herself missy and it would in my opinion over power the show because it would be two sexist with two female leads and that's not including bill
*sigh* We agree that women can do just as much as men, Amy. We feel that includes "playing the role of Doctor Who". This is a sketch parodying what we consider to be the sexist attitudes of those, such as the BBC, who believe that Doctor Who can't be played by a woman. It does feel a shame that we have to spell this stuff out, but given the comments on here, it feels a little necessary...
Your right I took the time to tell my 6y boy he will never be as good as a women even though he will miss less days of work come in on time more often and leave late more, and oh ya 92% more likely to to die in the group that was used to show a 7% pay gap. I would take a 7% pay cut to be 92% more likely to come home to my kids. You also implied that men are not as good @ parenting. Many men including myself have raise children and done a fine job of it. I say shame on you for that, fathers on average work very hard to raise kids and yes traditional gender roles have them working more while the women takes care of the kids, but you are confirming the exact thing you are trying to stop. You should research your info.
