I really like that souffle girl character, she could've made a good companion. I hate it too when they introduce a cool new character and then we never see them again, thats so frustrating.

The revelation about Amy no longer being able to bare children is sad, but I appreciate that Moffat took these opportunities to pull on my heart strings. As a viewer, I developed a real attachment for these characters and it was confirmed because the show kept making me cry. As a general rule if a show can't make me emotional for its characters, I'm done. I made you look like an emotional rock.

Absolutely love how they left him a space every Christmas, just in case. Such a touching moment. N for a man that lost his entire planet, it was like he had somewhere he could call home, a family that would always save a place for him at the table.

As good and amazing as Oswin was, if she became a companion it would have been at the expense of Amy and Rory. Meaning, Amy and Rory would have to leave in order for Oswin to be a companion. Pretty sure you wouldn't be happy with that! :D P.S. I actually kinda like "Peace Out, Girl Scouts!" lol!

@@Will-nn6ux Thanks for your comment. I don't think it's a major spoiler since it's the revelation of why she's 'impossible' that's the real spoiler. It's obvious that something weird is going on right from the start, so it's an intriguing mystery running through the next series, but not a spoiler until the end. Remember when we first meet River Song, it's obvious that she knows a future incarnation of the Doctor but you don't know how.. or which one!.

Couldn't even tell where she was. Looks into your soul. Actually does the impossible and makes the Daleks forget. Rescues the Doctor and sends him running. A single episode and she's gone, like a leaf in the wind. The writers do like to tease us.

If memory serves, the reason why there is a Christmas special in the middle of the series is because the first half of the series was broadcast later in 2012. That was followed by the second half of the series in Spring 2013 and then the 50th aniversary episode in November 2013 followed by another Christmas special.

Be very very careful reading comments due to potential spoilers. Please have someone pre read them for you. Though you may have already seen a lot by the time this is posted. I won’t spoil. I felt the Amy/Rory issues seemed odd too. But I was happy they were together at the end. This was a good episode. I loved Oswin. It was a little like the girl in the hotel...she would have been a Great companion but she died. And the girl on the 9th doc finale with the Daleks ...I forget her name. But she would have been a good companion as well and she died. How about madame d’pompedor (sp). She could have been a good companion but she died. Arrrgh. The next Christmas special is one of my favs

I actually think season 7 is underrated. It's probably my favourite Matt Smith season in terms of his acting, he really pulls it out of the bag this season. But 6 is probably still my favourite for story.

@ so in the theory the doctor leaves the ponds in asylum of the daleks for some time and then come back together in angels in manhattan then the doctor goes back in time to for the power of three where they go to Henry VIII bedroom which is brought up in that western episode which wouldn't make much sense in the actual release of the episodes on TV. Hopefully that made sense

Loved seeing some classic 70s and 80s Daleks, specially the Imperial Special Weapons Dalek. The reason for the odd Christmas episode in the middle was that this series was shown late in the year and early the next.

What's missing from a lot of the reactions of people catching up and avoiding spoilers is that there had already been a big announcement that Jenna Coleman was going to be the new companion. That they introduced her and killed her off in her first episode gave people the David Tennant What?!

At the beginning of the story when Clara was turning up the music it was to try and help calm down her fear of the Daleks outside, at least that was the perception of it before we all found out she was a Dalek herself. Also the Christmas episode is in the middle of the season because at the Time season 7 was originally transmitted (in the UK) as a split season.

I'm not sure quite how far you are in to the series in real life, but between episode 13 of series 7 and the special there's a mini episode called "Night Of The Doctor" that's worth watching. It's only 5 -10 minutes long, and it'd be very interesting to see your reaction.

I love the end of that Christmas special seeing Amy being so cute about always putting a plate out for the doctor it shows that he has a family a difference between 11th doctor and 10s is the family aspect 10 always knew or saw them differently 11 wants that family connection with his friends as for the episode one of my favorites for 11s era you see the doctor heal/fix the rift between Amy and Rory but then you see the doctor being surprised and in awe of oswin loved the video as always especially you trying to find a ending to your videos

This era is quite well known for having quite a few shorts that are worth seeing. The Night and the Doctor (which are really great) and Pond Life connect series 6 and 7 (there were the Meanwhile in the TARDIS's in season 5 and the 2 parter Time and Space (which is awesome) between serie 5 and 6). You should probably check all of these out. Before the midseries 7 Christmas Special there is PS, The Great Detective, and Vastra Investigates all of which you would very likely enjoy. There are quite a lot of other episode promos as well (which are less important but enjoyable for fans)

You have to remember that a lot of time is passing for Amy and Rory when they are not with the Doctor 2 years in this case, so there is obviously been stuff going on for them in that time, really enjoyed this reaction x

Oh season 7 feels like so long ago now, I was a teenager when it came out, time flies haha. You're going to absolutely revel in this season. It's exciting and sad and happy and intense, essentially just everything good about the Eleventh. And oh the next times will absolutely kill you this season 😂 here's to hoping you conquer the annoyance, I didn't for your information. Enjoy 😁 Oh I commented early and I know a perfect example of a character you grow to love that dies. The lady in the Titanic episode during Tens run, she was absolutely amazing and the self sacrifice spoke to me as a writer and fan, inspirational.

This season has two truly epic streaks of episodes that are right in a row that you will want to react to all of. The first run are episodes 4, 5, Christmas special, and 6. Later on, you will want to react to The Name of the Doctor, The Night of the Doctor (mini episode), The Day of the Doctor (50th anniversary special), and The Time of the Doctor (Christmas special no. 2).

I'd suggest reacting to Episode 6: "The Bells of Saint John" as it's the first episode of Season 7B and sets up certain things for that half season. And definitely "The Snowmen" Christmas special before that one, as it is also important...And also just really good too. Yes, series 7 was strange because Moffatt was busy doing Sherlock, so they split one season over two years and so Series 7A was in 2012, and Series 7B was in 2013 with a Christmas special ("The Snowmen") between them.

Hello, Season 7!!! "Asylum of the Daleks" is one of my favorite opening Episodes... I don't know why, it just feels so "Who", y'know? "My cheeks hurt!" Doesn't really show what happens. About 30 seconds of the final minisode (part 5, I believe) is devoted to the divorce, and there's no additional details revealed in it. The other 95% of it is just irrelevant fluff and "wacky comedy" that doesn't add anything.

True but you saw how the shock of their split it really affect how Shayla saw the episode. Once you get the shock out of the way it's a damn good episode.

It’s nice to see that you loved Oswin as much I did. Why do they always do that when you connect with a character like her. If I could just make one request, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE react to the mini episode “The Bells of St. John: A prequel” it’s short and very sweet are sorta sets up the show for after the Christmas special. Other than that get ready for Season 7 it’s going to be a ride.
