I've been working on this one for a while, it took some time to get the feel right as I didn't want it to be exactly like one I did a couple years ago, Mercy. Hope you guys enjoy it!
It’s a good representation of the stakes of being with the doctor, and the pain that has to be carried. This is why the 13th is like this, not wanted to remember the past and is my thoughts why there is less than there was. Good work with the video
This is so beautiful.. ive been desperately waiting for ur edit.. Love it so much! You really make 13th doctor shine which sets ur vids apart from others.. they are really heartwarming..thankyou!
I love this so much!! And I love your use of 13 especially. You really capture how she constantly represses and hides her pain and guilt as a direct reaction to what her past selves have been through. I feel like a lot of fans completely misunderstand her character journey because it isn’t as explicit. She hides so much because she is so afraid. 13 thinks by keeping her friends at a distance that she is protecting them from her pain but she is really protecting herself from growing emotionally attached. Because she knows she will inevitably lose her friends and the pain will be terrible.
@@MichaelM28 Ha! I made this account 12 years ago. But go on. Also I'm honoured to have finally found your ire. Your truly bizarre obsession with her era is somewhat legendary at this point. I don't think I've ever seen such wholehearted and pointless dedication to a person you're supposed to hate. Even months after they abandoned you! At this point I can't tell if you're genuinely that sad, or if you actually secretly love Jodie Whittaker but are desperately hurt that she doesn't know you exist after all your hardwork!
What a beautiful take, its like it covered every aspect of the Doctor without going too deep in any. Perfectly Balanced. A mad man with a box, not the Timeless Child
@@apexa903 No because the Timeless Child is an immortal chosen one. The mad man is the ordinary timelord who chose to be different, who ran to fight the good fight across the stars. He's an example of inspiration, because who the Doctor is, is not by birth but by his actions and decisions. He's the man who flies across the stars in his box, helping out, putting his life on the risk. Timeless Child is an immortal being who comes for the fight and runs away while mortals sacrifice their lives for him.
@@alphamineron Look i dont particularly give a fuck as long as the show carrys on, i knew the doctor was the timeless child in series 11, didnt stop me watching it, became intriguing like the madman in the box and the timless child are just new angles to see the doctor but its the same person with new lense
@@Dillypickle541 No it's not, you need to view the character more deeply than that.. because the Timeless Child is an immortal chosen one who lets other die, while he runs away. The mad man is an ordinary timelord who chose to be different, who ran to fight the good fight. Both angles describe completely different character traits and I would rather watch Harry Potter if I wanted to see a "chosen one" cliche for the millionth time. It would be sad if you feel the cliche to be "intriguing", watch more cinema... you are missing out on the real stuff.
Honestly why isn't that "this isn't a discussion"/"I promised to look after you" section followed by all those companions turning around and saving the day because the *point* of all that [...until s12...] is that the Doctor's *wrong*.
