I had a police escort into Birmingham once. We were the lead coach carrying in protectors for a rally. That slightly dented my image as a rebel. Also starting at a motorway junction. No, because the law here says emergency vehicles can go through red lights. In some cities, the traffic lights are linked onto a network, so you can make a whole line of them stay green.
