Who Cave Travels - A continuation of my journey from Australia to the UK in October/November 2023. I decided to retrace my footsteps and go back to Llangollen where I had fond memories from 2003. New footage as I locate some familiar signs around town and time travel back to 2003 with new updated photos and upscaled video of my original visit. Get ready for the nostalgia train as the journey continues.

I used to visit the exhibition loads and still miss it. I used to spend the early morning walking in the surrounding hills and later visit the exhibition. I think I was a familiar face to the folk who worked there. At this point I will say that I used to visit during the week while it was quite and usually had the place to myself. Tired from my walking I would often sit and nod off with the wonderful sounds of the exhibition around me. A couple of times I even stepped over the rope and into the TARDIS and nodded off inside. As for Bessie, well, I've been all over her. Of course I was careful and respectful. I loved that exhibition. Thank you so very much for posting this.

No problem I did this revised video as I only got to go once but dealt with the exhibition a lot over the phone placing my orders to get sent to Australia. I too had the place to myself on this day and got to sit in Bessie. A childhood dream to be surrounded by things I watched growing up. Going back last year was a fond trip and a bit of closure to walk through the town again. Feel free to fwd the video on😀

Thanks Ryan it was an absolute joy to put it together. I managed to see it before it closed a few months later. I am glad I got to document it a bit even if it was towards the end😀

I loved this place. At one point in time Llangollen was the greatest show in the galaxy for me as a doctor who and railway fan!!

I enjoyed my time there I spent a long time going around everything. Used to mail order from Australia and I was so lucky to see it as it closed the same year I went. Happy times.

Thanks for sharing this. I went to the exhibition in 1998. I only had to travel from Aberdeen (Scotland) to get there. I still have a pen(minus the ink) and a Pertwee boo marker I bought in the shop 👍

Thanks for watching it’s a wonderful memory to have. In my original visit the shop was almost bare. I managed to find a cyberman on the shelf and a couple of other bits. I’m glad I got to film the place as it was empty and that I was able to upscale the footage successfully for this video😀

Apparently the voice changer dalek prop was an original from the series and cut down so you could get inside.
