Doctor Who | How Far Well here is another doctor who video for you guys! enjoy! 10K, We actually did it! Thank you for your continuous support for this channel it means so much to me! I LOVE YOU ALL!
You prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any assistance you can give me
Illegal Aliens I’m just not sure here..but I think swing and miss? Something just seems off. And I am by no means a professor on this subject. Apologies if I am incorrect. Crap and now I just did it
Everytime he holds a gun it's so powerful. Because he made a vow not to use weapons. If he holds a gun it means he's so desperate, he's fighting against himself because he doesn't know what else to do. It's so sad and powerful and beautiful.
That’s why I loved the end of time part 2, the doctor battered, broken and near defenceless. Humanity wiped out by the master and the time lords threatening to take more soon after he mourned there death. All of that, and he still dies to save one person, Wilfred. He ran from his most challenging enemies, only to stop at his last enemy, his compassion, his compassion for others.
That line reminds me of a line in a comic where a civilian asks some of the superheroes (including Wonder Woman and Cyborg): "Don't you get numb to all that big stuff? Aliens, monsters, mass destruction? What are we to people like you?" And Cyborg says: "Everything, man. The reason we do all of it."
@@whywhyywhyyy The word "giants" is metaphorical. Wilf comments that, to the Doctor, humans "must look like insects" to him, given the Doctor's lifespan and his vast experience travelling around the universe. When the Doctor replies "I think you look like giants", he's referring to his belief in humanity as a whole, that humans are capable of such amazing things. Think how much humans - and not just his direct companions - have done throughout the series' history to help him save the universe, countless selfless sacrifices, like Harriet Jones making her position known by connecting the subwave network, and thus being exterminated by the Dalesks, Martha's year-long trip around the world to spread the word about the Doctor, and so on. Humans aren't giants physically, but rather in their capacity to do good. Hope this helps!
David Meyer thank you it really helps. i’ve been troubled by this for a long time now because i couldnt think why. i understand what he thinks of humanity now but i just dont think humanity is *that* beautiful at all. maybe thats because why i never understood because in my point of view, humanity is...i cant think of the word. but it’s far from beautiful.
Never be cruel, never be cowardly and never ever eat pears. Hate is always foolish, love... is always wise. Always try to be nice but never fail to be kind. Oh silly old universe, they get it all wrong without you doctor. You made me a better men. Thank you Peter Capaldi. Ive lost my doctor. Ive lost a friend. But times change and so must i. I cant thank you enough. You were my light in very dark times. You were my shiny star in a dark universe. Doctor...i let you go.
The amount of work that's gone into this is amazing. The Soldier who is tired of fighting. The Veteran who can't stop living The Moment. The Scientist who finally found love. The Grandad who can act childish again. The Survivor who lives each day to the fullest. That's how far we've come. How Far indeed.
If you want more pain, think about when Donna meets River she asks why she doesn’t remember him and then think about Donna’s mind getting wiped… yeah that hurts.
I really hope that this never gets any hate, it's art. The beauty of this type of video is how things are linked together, making it even more emotional than watching each episode separately. The music is the key. You have really mastered this art form and I can't express how much I enjoy these. Good luck with every future project, though I'm sure you'll never make a bad one. Have a fantastic life ❤️
@@realitygenrestudios I'm not as good at compliments as you are at videos so excuse that my comment is not very deep, I just wanted you to know that you can combine scenes to create such emotion. I hope that you really enjoy this work and that it feels rewarding. I truly don't see how anyone could dislike it, and I hope that you dont. I wish you every happiness 👋
Unfortunately we live in a world filled with hatred. It will come, for no other reason than beauty is despised on principle. The best you can do is ignore it and spread the beauty. Be better than hate and share the beauty. It'll help us all be a little bit better.
Yes and so much very YES... One single person... A tiny act of generosity of spirit of Care of humanity... A few kind words A thumbs up A Peace Sign... Prime examples of how there ARE no "small" Kindnesses... how the actual monetary cost of a single cup of hot coffee or a dollar cheeseburger or a pair of socks is Priceless... How two seconds out of the 24 hrs in our day it takes to smile, to nod, to move one step aside... To offer a hand up, to retrieve a dropped item, to pick and give a single flower... These seemingly cheap and easy acts of Kindness can change another persons whole day, entire outlook, inner dialogue and consequently outward behavior. I KNOW these things to be Real and True from personal experience... Like a spiderweb or ripples in water or a fit of giggles... There are NO 'small' acts of Kindness... and each one affects us ALL... (This is my own opinion) ✌
@@cloverandanais A good man goes to war was probably one of the greatest things that has ever been put to television, good god. I loved Tennant's Doctor but those episodes were just unbelievably good.
This just made me realize, this I think is what thirteen is running from. The kind of person shes hiding from her current companions. The Doctor who has lost way too much and is scared of losing anyone again because she has fought so hard in many lifetimes but still ended up being alone.
@Doctor Tophat Yes, I have been. To me, it just feels like a series of references that constantly assume that the viewer is not intelligent to draw their own conclusions, painstakingly spelling everything out. I am trying to keep an open mind, but I just keep losing interest. Can you understand from where I am coming?
@@mehface I didnt mind the doctor being female i didnt mind the new companions, but when the first episode of season 11 is the best of the new doctor thats a bad thing, i was waiting to see her become the doctor but she never did, The new showrunner is terrible, He doesnt know what doctor who is and what it stands for, I just hope the BBC Hires some one else before its to late
I have never wanted to act SO much in my life. Seeing these beautiful moments, feeling so connected and inspired, it's just like nothing else. Human connection is truly a beautiful thing.
You have come such a long way, not just as a RU-vidr but as an editor and as well. I am absolutely honoured to call you a friend. Congrats on 10k bro and quality vid as per usual!
What do you guys call this genre of videos? We all know what memes are and how they work, could you consider this a meme in the form of a video as it expresses and delivers certain themes and messages?
7:25 "All those stories you hear about him are not stories they're true" Literally gives me chills. The Doctor has made such an impact that any story you could be told about the Doctor are probably true
I am the Real Life Doctor of WAR - MI6 Special branch kingsman Angel # 222, now pensioned & declassified. I am the one who said NO MORE WAR !.... And I have given up on savage stupid short-sighted selfish cowardly humans. I've prevented 3x nuclear wars... and humans keep becoming more selfish more evil every single generation. Humans are cursed w/ DNA schizophrenia, and are incurable and evil from birth 2 death. Enough SAID. NO MORE !!! I will NEVER save u again!
This is awesome but emotional in a great way especially when Mr. Tennant says "400 years is that all it takes" I love that line because it shows how much he is still the doctor at heart
I feel this is mistitled. This isn’t a video that references a specific theme like some of your others. This is just a glorious celebration of Doctor Who in its entirety, and all the highs and lows that go with it. So don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed this as a way to celebrate 10K, but I think the titles a bit off, and should be something more general. But maybe I’m alone on that idk. :/
@Reality Genre Studios Which definitely came through! I just felt there was a lot of other stuff that was coming through as well so it wasn’t as focused on that theme as much as lot of the different themes that define the Doctor’s character coming together. Trying to word this in a way that doesn’t come off like an overly negative dick as I really did enjoy this, and my criticism is a nitpick in all honesty, but I think there’s a lot of stuff in this that escapes that central premise, which is to an extent unavoidable when dealing with the Doctor, but also calls for a different title. But what do I know? 🤷♂️
@@Longshanks1690 to label a video when it does commit to multiple themes that's why I picked the message that I took from it. Honestly i made this whole video without knowing what i was gonna call it. that's how hard it was to name it!😂
I know you’re just trying to express your opinion but I definitely think this comes off...... kinda rude? I’m not sure, but it seems very condescending almost. I think it’s the explanation you try to give, it doesn’t come off helpful it comes off more biased and critical.
I love Jodie as the Doctor these past seasons. However, this is what has been missing. The fire. The fight. The darkness. The light. Chinball hasn't allowed her to be the Doctor yet.
I'd say after series 12 she's definitely the Doctor now. In s11 it's not she didn't have any fire, any darkness: she just wouldn't show it. She didn't share anything, running away from it all.
I agree, but now we're starting to see that darkness. That fire. That rage. She's running as fast as she can, but even a Time L(ord)ady has to stop and rest. I think this next season might bring out more for her. At least, that's the hope.
@@DefectiveDetective420 Agreed watching her actress in things outside doctor who the way she was portrayed in series 12 is the tone shes more used to doing acting wise.
@@neptune04 and I'm sure she's said something to the writers and done her own research into the character, so she's probably got a hand in steering the Doctor in the right direction vs what we had seen in s11 and the start of s12. She still has yet to take the pedestal from Capaldi in my eyes, but she's a contender
holy hot damn, you got me crying. This was a beautiful piece of art that showed everything the Doctor was and could be. A good man struggling when everything is trying to knock him down. And I can't wait to see more videos from you. They're amazing :)
This is the first one of your videos I've ever watched... And it will most definitely not be the last. You have created the most fantastic masterpiece of Doctor who that I have seen yet. I cannot give you enough praise! And I can think of nothing better to say than: thank you.
this sent chills down my body because of how amazing this is. i just don't have any other words to describe it because its so good. you did a great job keep it up!
This is absolutely, utterly glorious, this is perfection incarnate, this is all that lies at the hearts of the show and so much more. Goosebumps and tears. Especially tears. Every single incarnation of the Doctor shares the same soul, the same spirit, at the very core. (I only wish the writers would give Jodie a scene, a speech like these, where she could shine, because she does, she's brilliant beyond words, but there is yet to come a moment where she could really go all out.) You've once again done an incredible job. I applaud you. Gorgeous. And thanks.
Never ever stop making these. I have notifications turned on for over 10 doctor who edit channels, and you are the best. They’re always so well put together, with perfect music, conveying a deep message. They make me forget where I am for the moment, and they make me proud to be a Whovian. So proud. If anybody ever tells me there is a better tv show with better meanings I will be damn surprised. The video was spectacular. Thank you
The doctor no matter how bad the situation is he will forever find a way to help or save his companies as the doctor he will do anything to save a single person 😩
Remember when the Doctor told Amy "no, you look timelord, we came first". Do you think thats why the Doctor cherishes Earth and the Humans so much. Because he sees his own people in humans???
absolutely beautifully done. This is what i'd show someone who never heard of the show and wants to know if they'll like it without any big spoilers. It perfectly shows who the doctor is and the feel of the show.
I have just one thing to say and that is: I admire you. I admire you so much for this work alone. This beautiful video is trully a piece of art. I cannot believe how amazingly it was put together and how much work that must have taken. Thank you so much! I don´t think I´ve ever watched a better Doctor Who video.
i'm not crying, you're crying. Honestly, I can only dream of making tributes of this quality. Granted, I'll never know until I try, but your dedication to this definitely shows. Any time I watch a DW tribute, I can't help crying, even if it's supposed to be happy! Everyone who makes these pairs the scenes so well with the music and they give me so many emotions at once. Seriously, dude, never stop. These are awesome
Meeting the Doctor is the most impactful thing for a person. It changes them for the better. Its too bad that the one person who needs to meet the Doctor most of all is the Doctor himself.
Just superb - thank you for taking the time to put this together - this is how the Doctor should be portrayed so thank you for not including any 13 clips - says it all really that there are no 13 clips worthy to put in.
I aspire to be like you. Thanks for the influence even tho it’s not intentional. I love doctor who. And doing this for fun with continue make this fun and exciting.
The doctor is more human than he knows, and he’s a hero, because he does do what’s right, and what’s decent, and what’s kind. But he makes choices that are difficult, and hard, but he does it because he’s him! He saved lives in the show and outside the show and I can absolutely positively say: the doctor saved my life
