I totally agree it was a good episode I liked the Maestro as a villain but the song and dancing at the end did take me out of it. The Doctor breaking the fourth wall isn't anything new Capaldi has done it in the episode "Before the Flood" it was also done in Classic Who where William Hartnell looks at the camera and addresses the audience "A happy Christmas to all of you at home" in "The Daleks' Master Plan: Episode 7-The Feast of Steven" as that aired on Christmas night in 1965 and the only episode of Classic Who on christmas, Tom Baker has also done it a few times in the an episode of "The Invasion of Time" looks at the camera and says "Not even my sonic screwdriver can get me out of this one" and Sylvester McCoy also did it at the end of the cliffhanger of "Remembrance of the Daleks: Part 3" looks up to the camera and says "I must have miscalculated" so it's nothing new but the way it was handled with Ncuti winking at the camera I agree is abit too cheesy.
Yea I realized when I was editing that the doctor has broken the fourth wall a lot of times it had been so long since Id seen some of those eps that I had just forgot. Honestly the bigger thing that bugs me is the Non-diegetic line cause my brain interprets that as the Doctor can always here the music which is weird to think about XD
