Happy summer, everyone! Guess what I've been watching? That's right. In anticipation for my surely wonderful semester in London this fall, I've decided to indoctrinate myself to the wonders of British television, and what better place to start than with the oldest science fiction show in television history?
I'll be honest, I did cheat, I started with the new series that began in 2005 and fell absolutely in love. It's extremely Buffy-esque; funny, action-y, scary, and all around fun to watch. I encourage all Buffy/Firefly fans to check it out. (Giles is in one!)
ANYWAY, this is my tribute-thing to the Tenth Doctor, played by Mr. David Tennant. You may know him better as Barty Crouch, Jr. of Goblet of Fire fame. As much as I am enjoying Matt Smith as the Eleventh, I was extremely sad to see him go. For you poor uninformed people, of which I was one until about a month ago, The Doctor is a time-traveling alien (called a "Time Lord") that regenerates into a new man each time he dies. So the Doctor has died 10 times, and 11 actors have taken a crack at the character since the show began in 1963.
It's definitely worth checking out if you get the chance. (Hooray for Netflix Watch Instantly!)
Please enjoy, rate, and comment!

Night Hounds by X-Ray Dog
El Morro by the Corner Stone Cues
Program(s) Used: Sony Vegas 9.0 and Soundtrack Pro (in my futile attempts to edit out the background music of dialogue clips. I absolutely adore the music in this show, but trying to do that was a right pain in the arse.)
*DOCTOR WHO belongs to the BBC!*
They are very clear about that.
