I can't believe I'm editing DoctorDonna with new footage in 2023. I've always wanted to do a Donna humour video, but life always got in the way. I almost finished a 10 year old project but decided to do something a little more "modern" instead.
This easily could've gotten to be about 10 minutes with all the clips I had set aside, but I decided to focus on the special, and only use older clips as tie-ins for references, and then stick to purely DoctorDonna rather than getting into Beep the Meep (as much as I wanted to).
I've rewatched Donna yeeting her coffee so many times. It's just so funny.

Rose picked her own name as a trans woman. Hence the vile boys cycling past calling her using her dead name, and the conversation with Sylvia and Donna about trying to support Rose but occasionally slipping. Which was suck a good scene and having trans relatives you do worry so much about saying the right thing and not slipping up.

It was okay, Much much better than the last Doctor but a few things could have been fine-tuned. They are still pushing women's-power biased rubbish. How did he just happen to have his old Sonic again and what happened to the Sonic vibrator? Why did his clothes change? They didn't change when he left them. Rose is not a very good actor I thought and is she 15yo in the show? she looks more like 26. Very disappointed we didn't see the old man and I really don't like the LED Tardis lights at all. But I love that David is back, he came back like he never left. Straight into the swing of things. Donna not so much, she isn't looking very well and it's affecting her. Maybe 15 years too long for her. But still good to see her back again. When I first saw the ship I was hoping it was the Doctors' daughter coming back. How cool would that be if he opened the ship and his daughter looked up and says Hi Dad. But it wasn't to be. Meep kept reminding me of Road Runner. My favourite part was blowing up the Tardis with Coffee. Hopefully, it's changed back to how it was before. I give the show 7/10
