twigs is an artist to be reckoned with. she has so many talents under her sleeve; i don't see a lot of artists that could produce artistic concepts like her. a legend truly
Saw her in Bristol in October 2014, really one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen. She is a tiny woman and absolutely commanded the room! I havent listened to her newer songs, excited to rediscover her again. ✨
Usually, I play documentaries like this on a background and just listen to it while I work. But not this one. You just can't miss the visual part of Twigs.

I know the content creators have absolutely no control over the ads that play with before their videos begin but the fact that the commercial that played when I particularly started watching this video was an ad for child acting agencies literally brought a tear to my eye. 😢

I used to love FKA Twigs, but now not so much. She is a very talented woman that cannot stop complaining about situations she puts herself in. She will not give a black man a chance to date her but yet she has the audacity to complain when white people don’t accept her. She must think she is too good to date people of color and that makes her racists against her own kind. As a person of color myself, I am offended by that. She would rather date a man that is known to be troubled and abusive (Shia LeBeouf) than to try dating outside of the white boy pool. I am also tired of her dragging R. Pattinson. He was obviously in a rebound relationship with her and was still processing how his ex girlfriend cheated on him with a married man and the entire world saw photos of it. He tried to move on with his life and I’m sure he had feelings for FKA, but never fell in love with her. You cannot force someone to fall in love with you. Deal with it and stop trying to make him look bad. He said from the beginning that he didn’t agree with the racism towards her and refused to comment about it because it will encourage people to continue to attack her. FKA needs to stop the passive/aggressiveness and do better. It’s not a good look.
Im just confused on how she is considered an artist when she can barely sing live. Where does the art come in? Her success comes from her appearance, not what she puts out. Cause if this is what we are considering art, the bar is low
She has a sweet voice, maybe not the best singer like mariah or whitney, but twigs is not always about the vocals, listen to the instrumentation in her music, video clips, the fact that she does wushu swordfight, pole dance, vogue, etc, she's the ceiling lol not the bar anymore
@@bagsbugs3024 none of that makes me want to listen to her music. Having actual vocal skills and talent is art. She doesn’t come anywhere close to the bar. There is a reason Beyoncé is an artist. And it didn’t come from swinging on a pole.
@@femmechatnoir863 you don't have to listen to her music lol, but ya respectfully, I think you're in denial if you think fka twigs is not an artist Just saying that singing is an art form, dancing is also an art form, choreographed sword-fighting is an art form, pole dancing is an art form, directing music videos is an art form, producing music is an art form, and fka twigs does all that and so I regard her as an artist, she might not be the best at singing but being a singer is not the end all or be all in an artist lol and probably you didn't actually listen to that live recording that I sent you lol since it's clear that you're just a hater from the start I think fka twigs is one of the most talented artists ever and if you think she's trash then that's fair enough, I can't and don't need to convince you otherwise...
@@bagsbugs3024 I don’t have any reason to hate on this woman I will never meet. But she is not a “musically” inclined artist. Those other forms of “art” do not make me want to listen to her music. Honestly it sounds like she is over compensating for what she can’t do which is sing. What I am saying is “musically” she is not an artist. Her music is horrible actually. We both know where her success comes from. And it’s not her “art”…
