Hey y'all! We're Chris + Sara (or as you know us, Let’s Be Us), a husband and wife digital nomad travel duo currently working and traveling full time with our pup, Kramer. We've always dreamed of traveling full time, and in May of 2018 we took the leap and made it happen! Today we're balancing work and fun everywhere between the Pacific and Atlantic. From hiking and cycling to tacos and coffee, we're trying to see and experience as much of this world as we can! While our home is currently on wheels in our DIY Sprinter van, our travels take us all around the world.

I just retired and at the young age of 69 decided, no more regets... I'm moving to Mexico! I've never even had a Passport! Since I can't decide between LaPaz and Oaxaca, I will stay awhile in each and see what God's plan is. There's no rush. I've watched countless hours of YT videos on moving to MX, travelling in MX, etc., and just found yours. You 3 are by far my favorite YT'ers, favorite Baja sojourners! Thank you, thank you for sharing the beauty that awaits! Can't wait to watch more... to travel the same path. Enjoy!!

Congrats on retirement! Both Oaxaca and La Paz are wonderful cities! I'm sitting in Oaxaca as I type and we've fallen in love with it as well. I hope you find the right place that feels like home to you! ❤

Baja and the Sea of Cortez is beautiful. That campsite at the beginning looked like it was in Mulege. we have visited Loreto twice and the last time was last October. We spent a week at Villa del Palmar Islands of Loreto about 30 minutes south of town. The waters were calm with no waves and at 82 degrees which is really warm. Thanks!

Wow, I loved how you captured the essence of Baja California Sur on this road trip. From the peaceful towns to those hidden beaches. I recently did a similar trip and documented my experience. There’s no place like Baja for an adventure like this!

I lived in Northern Baja for one year in 1994 and drove to La Paz in Southern Baja. It is a magical place.

The nice thing about your video is you get to go back cause you skipped so many wonderful cities/towns… the best bit of baja is the middle - past Ensenada and before La Paz…. Maybe title this some baja but mostly la Paz!

During your drive from the border to La Paz, did they ask for your T.I.P or FMM form at check points? Thank you
@chrisandsara
@chrisandsara 3 месяца назад
No they did not. We went through several check points and were never asked.

Are you guys having your vehicle shipped from panama to colombia? its obviously to big for a container so are you doing it via roro? This is literally my dream trip
@chrisandsara
@chrisandsara 20 дней назад
Hey! Yes! The plan is to do RORO from Panama to Colombia. Overland Embassy is who we're going to go through to ship our rig since they have so much experience and connections shipping vehicles this route.

you said TIP was good for ten years, I have always been under the impression it is tied to your visa if you leave your truck leaves. did your TIP say 10 years? THanks
@chrisandsara
@chrisandsara 18 дней назад
Hi there! Yes, our TIP did say for 10 years. I've heard it's different for different years, makes, and models of vehicles though. Maybe this blogpost I wrote about driving to Mexico will help clarify: www.chrisandsara.com/post/crossing-the-land-border-from-the-usa-into-mexico

Not to get into Mexico, but to get back to the USA you now need a special form. I have a whole blogpost about traveling internationally with a dog that answers all the questions: www.chrisandsara.com/post/how-to-travel-internationally-with-a-dog

Right? 🤔 A better way to put it would be, "just follow the advice of the several big RU-vidrs who already did the Pan-American from Alaska to Ushuaia, as depicted in their countless videos... when in doubt, ask the FB groups like "on the road in Mexico" from the peeps who are already there 🙃
