This is the background story of the album, the writing process and the recording.
Cathrine, Fionnuala and Rolf share their personal footage from the studio sessions linked with their own words.
Secret Garden is proud to share their first ever Christmas album. "Sacred Night" is a special collaboration with long-time band member and friend Cathrine Iversen. The album is a collection of original music by Rolf Løvland and the 500 year old favorite "I Know A Rose Tree". Cathrine Iversen is the soloist on all the songs.

I hear secret garden from 1995 when i was 13 years old but when i hear her voice i got goose bumps she has so great voice and it fit perfectly to your band. keep the up the great work all of you.you got all my respect and love.thank you that you exist in my life.

An interesting, insightful and almost intimate tour behind the scenes. Lovely to encounter the singers and musicians away from the stage environment. There is a genuinely beautiful spirit along with their professionalism which is increasingly rare in this field. I'm also impressed by the way they creatively and indomitably worked around the pandemic obstacles in order to produce this fabulous album (for which I still eagerly await...)

I feel the same way too Matthias. I also think that it is most surely the most beautiful and enchanting xmas album ever! I can't hold back my tears every time I listen to it! Catherine Iversen is incredibly blessed to have such a voice like this. She's in my humble opinion among the top 3 most gifted female voice I have ever heard. I'm a singer/songwriter, I've heard tons of different artists and voices so far, and she's, my kryptonite! I become totally captivated, hypnotised and my world stops turning, i can't help it! This album and Catherine Iversen's voice and talent are the best Xmas gift I received this year! ♥ JR

Best Christmas album in years, and discovered via a RU-vid recommendation. Now a Deezer favorite. The challenges that were overcome, during the Covid lock-down, to achieve the result were amazing, Well worth the effort. Love it!

Wonderful and thank you for showing the back stage creation of the album. I just purchased it for myself and told several others about it also.
