Today we're gazing into the Looking Glass, a collaboration between Shoe Pedals and DOD. The Looking Glass Overdrive is a two-headed beast, capable of everything between ultra-transparent enhancement overdrive to a brutish, throaty gain machine and literally everything in between. A High/Low toggle switch in the center cycles between the calmer, transparent side of the Looking Glass and the brawnier harmonically-rich mode. The Looking Glass rewards pick dynamics, and the Gain knob controls how easily the Looking Glass can be pushed into overdrive by the player's picking strength. A handy input filter control helps match the Looking Glass to any pickup type and a set of tone-sculpting EQ controls helps shape the glass even further. A set of internal DIP switches helps adjust the input impedance of the pedal for those running buffered pedals up front, as well as the range of the Input Filter control. Best of all, the Looking Glass stacks extremely well with other drive pedals and excels in the position closest to the amp.
