I'm actually really glad to find out how customizable the Charger is, I'm most likely going to be getting one as my first car and cant wait to add my own personal look to it. Oh and I love how you dont even need to worry about refurbishing it, you can just sleep a new look in it and get rid of the old parts lol that's so cool!

I'm glad this is part one. There are so many options that it couldn't possibly be covered in one video. Of course you can continuously mod your car until it's unrecognizable. But I think you started off right. Gonna watch the rest. For the interior I would also point out swapping seats for sport bucket seats, like Recaro. Maybe the steering wheel, although I really prefer the 06-10 steering wheel to the 11- and up steering wheel. Thanks!

Nice video man! If you're planning on doing a part two and need some ideas; I added LED tail lights, halo projector fog lights and headlights, and swapped out my bulbs for some brighter blue bulbs not HID's but HID's on there own would be a nice mod. I also changed out my corner lamps for some nice tinted ones.

Don't forget for $100-$200 you can get a great sound just by removing the mid mufflers and installing straight pipe where they were. If you leave the resonators on the very back there's no drone. Much better option to me than dropping $2,000 on a Borla cat back exhaust.

Marspeed I found some guy 4 hours away from me. he had an srt8 with a rod knock and asked him if he would hold the hood for me. picked it for 150. he sold his car for 6k.

I was thinking about cold air intake for my 06 charger rt..I just straight pipe it just other day. Is a cold air intake worth it...or should I just do a throttle spacer or both

Think about that the cold air intake will add about 10-20 hp for 300$ your choice but throttle spacer would be more worth

When choosing rain guards/vent visors I find the IN-CHANEL design to be far superior. The exterior stick-on ones do not look good at all. The in-channel design is much sleeker and cleaner and also less likely to blow off on the highway. As for cold air intakes a real "cold air" intake goes below the bumper to introduce actual cooler air in to the engine, those so called cold air intakes you always see are literally right next to the motor....the air is being pulled in is literally at no lower temperature are you are getting minimal results if any. Get a real cold air intake and you will see the difference right away.

Yes K&N does make them, I have seen them on the charger and 300. Basically instead of seeing the big air filter the intake tube goes straight down behind the bumper, (as the air intake to the motor is much lower be careful not to drive through any ridiculously deep puddles) When ever I see one of those installed I know who ever put it in knows what they are doing. I have always used AVS brand vent shades, you can get them from rockauto for a good price. Also as a tip... should you ever need to remove them or re-install them, the two way tape adhesive is called "3M VHB" tape, you can get rolls of it on ebay from china (in various widths) very cheap, exactly the same as the real stuff and works fantastic, and the proper way to remove it is just to pull it straight, laterally. (similar to those 3M command strips if you have ever seen them)

I have 8 speed 3.6 21 charger and took mid muffler out and put a super 10 and deleted rear rear resonators and out 2 dual black tips and sounds amazing.

MrTrenbo the 2009 and 2010 Charger model years have the tail lights cut out like that, the 06-08 is the other style

HELP!!! I just bought a 2007 Charger 3.5 Base model I aM trying to order the mopar shifter and it says it doesn’t fit my model. I go to eBay and try to order the same and similar ones and it too says it doesn’t fit my car. I don’t want to order if it they won’t fit. I don’t like the color of my car so I am not adding things to the exterior until I can get it painted. I keep watching these videos to try to understand the difference between base, pursuit, RT, ect. Thank you for your videos they have helped me a lot.

Im late as shit but, what’s the difference in the 06-10 hemi 5.7, and the 11-22? Clearly it says more horsepower, but what makes it that way? is it the same engine with a bigger throttle body, exhaust, air filter that makes more horsepower or is it actually a stronger engine? Thanks

I just made a whole video on that topic actually if you’re interested here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vhXOjR8qqhQ.html But in short the major difference is the addition of VCT (variable camshaft timing) to improve efficiency and add that extra 20-30 HP, and also the cylinder heads are more free flowing which makes a big difference. The exhaust, TB, filters are all basically the same.

looking for some advice I have a 2011 charger se and am wondering which route I should go 1. resonator delete and remove muffler and just add str8 pipe 2. resonator delete and add Flowmaster 40s or 3 keep resonators and add Flowmasters.. all help is appreciated..

Marspeed thanks I ended up deleting resi and adding a single muffler the sound is cool but still sounds kinda racer ish instead of a bass sound. should I add another muffler ?

UptownMike which muffler did you add? Because yours is true duals (the 3.5 only came with 1 pipe all the way down from the factory) then maybe yeah it's a good idea to add another muffler

Marspeed mine had the one center muffler that split to 2 resonators.. isn't that considered to not be true duals? ended up getting one flowmaster 40 out to 2 pipes with no resi.. the sound is cool but I'm looking for a little more bass vs high end.. Idk if I need to add another muffler or upgrade to a different type of muffler or if I'm expecting too much from the v6?

UptownMike true duals is if there are 2 pipes all the way from the manifold on the engine to the back of the car (not sure exactly if you have it but sounds like no). I've heard people say that the 40s aren't too loud, do you just have the normal ones or delta flows? I would try researching mufflers and picking a louder one if you want more noise, or going to a muffler/exhaust shop and seeing if they have any open ones that they can just throw on while the car is on the hoist and you can have a quick listen

I actually don't have a CAI on my car. A tune is not needed after exhaust or CAI but it will help for sure so I'd do it if I had the money

I put the Daytona lip on, halo lights, blue grill lights, blue reflective tape wrap (tron themed) and interior carbon fiber wrapping and it looks sick (I love your videos btw keep it up)

I've actually dipped my rims, badging, hood and body accents, and my grille. Have CAI and a handheld tune. Classic Chambered Powerstick muffler swap and resonator delete. Check out the exhaust clip on my channel if you're curious about the sound.

You threw out some great basic mods for the charger. I was a bit disappointed that you didn't cover any lighting topics such as interior led's or underglow for the exterior. I have both on my 2013 R/T and it looks amazing.
