That means nobody wants them... If they wanted them price wouldn't matter they'd find a way. What actually happened was the craze over them is now over people are realizing they're just big ass boats with big ass engines in them that requires a shit ton of money for maintenance. The 2025 Twin-Turbo Hurricane Inline- 6 Version will run laps around the scat pack with just 550HP. Dodge already sell more V6's than they do V8's if it wasn't for dodge selling as many v6's as they do v8's the v8's would've been discontinued a long time ago due to the lack of sales. The 6-Pack is what everyone is waiting on for next years release.
This isn’t 2015. The Scat Packs and Hellcats haven’t been special of desirable for years now. Quite the opposite, the CDJR universe at corporate, dealers, and out in the streets, has run down hill. Sad but Dodge did it to themselves.
U sound crazy still the most desirable car i have 2 the attention they draw the compliments the people talking atleast in atl its like that idk where u r its very desirable in atl
And Dallas, I have an older 2016 Cat, and it still draws compliments and attention. Scats and Cats are very much still desirable, I just can not bring myself to spend the upcharge to buy a newer model, The inflated price is what is killing the brand.
@@yarbrough713 he jis talking man prob cant afford one its usually thise people who talk ish about scats and cats we get all da hate because folks want them but cant afford them
I wouldn't buy that raggedy car. All motor and the interior is cheap plastic. Don't buy it used you can believe its been abused straight facts. The maintenance is ridiculous.
@@qdog5678 The world where they have let these V8’s sit for almost 2 years. Where banks are not financing the full price of the sticker price. Where defects and should be recalls are popping up left and right for these cars. Where the new years cars are coming out soon and they have a lot of inventory just sitting. And you think they are going to sell for full price ?
Beware of lot rot, these cars have sat untouched with dead batteries for a long time. Paint, tires, and decals as well as possible powertrain problems need to be addressed. I'd rather buy a slightly used garage kept one myself.
As a 22 wb scatpack charger owner. I ordered my car feb of 22, and i should've ordered it in 21. The msrp was 43,225 feb it was 46,225. With my upgrades, it came to 59k 816 credit 6k down with an interest rate of 3.74% $875 a month. I only have 8400 miles because she's only driven on sat. I based my purchase on my 120k salary, which pretty much doubled the cost of my car and my note doesn't exceed my mortgage. I can't speak on no one financial situation to each his own. But if the car double your salaries that's not logical thinking. Evaluate your priorities and don't get caught in a financial bind trying to keep up with social media. Life itself to live is expensive. I have other cars to play with like my 87 cutlass and my 95 gmc shortbed. Hell my cars don't even know what my job look except for my 02 gmc I drive to work. But at the end of the day you have to pay to survive and play.
Just bought a sxt charger for 27k with 0 miles making 90k salary with a $450 payment 0 and I love it.. 50k 60k 90k for a car just seems to expensive for me
@Jevonechy I want you to be better than me, young brother. I consider my life a humble struggle. Prepare yourself for the future with the understanding it's not promising. And stay in your own lane and always think for yourself and remain humble and sucker free with God on the forefront. It's a lot of smoke and mirrors on social media and youtube.
I wouldn’t say people don’t want them, I still would love one, just that not only is the insurance astronomical on them and some of these dealers wanna charge an arm, leg, and both kidneys for them.
A lot of people were only into these Dodges following a trend and weren't true car enthusiast. They literally can't name not one other muscle car other than Chargers and Challengers.
60K anything for a SCAT is WAYYYY to high. 50K should be the absolute max and thats a widebody, those prices are crazy. Anybody notice that the rotors are all rusted because they've been sitting so long.
Once he called those 5.7 T/A’s scat packs at the beginning of the video I immediately tuned out. Tired of folks making videos and they don’t even know what they are talking about. The first scat he showed was the 392 T/A for 65k
I have a Rt but honestly the scat packs and hellcats get stolen way too much. Not sure it’s worth it anymore and to top it off they are so over priced !
And I just got a 2021 Mustang GT 5.0 with a 6 year extended bumper to bumper warranty for 30k out the door. Only 32k miles on it. Now I'm full bolt ons running on E85 and I'll blow your doors off. And my car won't get stolen 😂
The minute they drop the prices the minute they gon start flying out the lots i was going to buy one when you could get a scat around 35k😭 should have done it cuz now they can kick rocks😂id be damned if i pay the price of a cat for a scat
Man the prices are unreal, it’s been awhile since I’ve shopped. I bought my 2018 Scat brand new for 40k at the time and now that’s what the GTs are going for 😳
Keep telling people the nostalgia has died. It is in desperate need of updating, especially to the interior. Their are kia and hondas with better tech and interiors than an overpriced dodge. Im not going to talk about the blackwing or an AMG its no comparison
I have a Scat Challenger but I need a Charger or Durango. Prices will keep falling for a while. If I can't get a loaded Charger or Durango 392 for around 50, they can keep it. Used are coming down a lot right now too.
I gave 43k for a new one last week. Sticker was 57k. 43k seemed like a good value for what I bought. Scat packs hit a real sweet spot for public roads. This is my second one because of all the cars I’ve owned I’ve enjoyed this car the most. Just a side note insurance rates have went way up since my last one.
I wouldn't say nobody wants them anymore. I would say that those who were going to buy one already did. Also, there are rumors that the 2023s were poorly made and are failing with few miles on them.
I have my chally. I'm good, but all the dudes I know in the V8 game ain't trying to buy a dead-end brand. Real talk. Homies are straight up dissing Dodge as washed up and talking anything but Dodge. Dodge is dead.
Scatt pack shaker destroyer gray 2023 58 and some change. Memorial day came around, they brought it up to 64 and some change. Do they think we are stupid F em
I bought a TA 392 new in 2018 and after that or 2019 they stopped making them but dodge suddenly brought them back but as a sticker package and it kinda took away from them. But even in 2018 it was 53k I got mine for 43k with all the rebates though
Thanks for showing the prices of these cars. Im sure eventually, the scats and katts will go down. They cant just leave so many on the lot. I gonna be patient 😊
Love the video as usual, my only grip with u is when u start endorsing n saying grab 10 of your friends n come get these n start a car club, it's like u saying come get riped off in Texas in the heat 🥵 before the prices fo down 🤣,but all else is awesome 👌 👏
I’m thinking about getting a scatpack for 48k 400 miles. 8k down, payments would be at 800. You guys think it’s a good deal. I’m in Cali btw. I’m so tempted but I want to wait a few months to see if they drop .
I also love the end of the video with fun facts ,u should definitely do that more because I like to watch all these scats n hellcats videos but I really don't know anything about them ,now am learning with u 😅
Sad to say, but I’ve given up hope on owning one of these cars. 1. Dealers are asking too much 2. The insurance is ridiculous, especially for someone who doesn’t have a bad driving record.
I got no tickets, no dui, no suspensions & even got a CDL! I was quoted $1,100 😂😂😂 are they insane! But the car note was $600. Make that make sense I didn’t get it lol
Quick thanks to Ft. Hood for bringing @slackonthego to Texas. Slack thanks for making a safe place to comment 😂. They may be coming down but not much at all. Keep up the good work bro.
I still want a Scat Pack Charger I just don't want a 2023 model because of the price and all the issues they're having I'm going to play it smart and get an older model because I'm not planning on paying a note
