Hey Toby, thanks for the tips, I liked you showing us the rubber seals replacement, that in my point of view, there lies a big reason for the computer to send the malfunctioning error message. CAN YOU PLEASE ADVISE/TELL US WHERE/HOW TO GET/BUY THOSE RUBBER SEALS. What auto parts store carries those rubber seals please! Or can you suggest a place to look for them? Thanks in advance for your help.
Can't get the module not even used, crazy noise under car too when starting off at about 12mph. I think this should be a recall as so many of us have this issue mines a town and country 2008. To the dealer I go tomorrow.
To all those installing used ABS modules you need to perform ABS Intialization process with a scan tool. This process will require you to drive your car at least 50 feet and make at least a 90° turn. If you dont want to spend $1000+ on a tool get a ThinkCar dongle and use your phone.
So Toby, could you suggest what scan tool I need to reprogram the module? I have a VIN mismatch situation cause I installed a junk yard donor module. Thanks ! Ed
Toby's Tech Tips Update! Success!!! The dealership believe it or not was kind enough to do a reflash for $55.00 even though I installed a junk yard part. The van was in for a recall at the same time. I’m happy as all get out!!!
@@ed370zx3 , I have same issue. With code c2202-00...I installed a used one,now says vin mismatch, question can dealer fix that with the reflash? Thank you in advance.
Rafael Montano yes my van was in for a recall for the air bag emblem . I ask them to see if they could do a reflash and they did it for like 50 bucks! So happy the junk yard part worked. Now I’m trying to sell the van with 210k miles. I think I got my money’s worth! Lol Take to dealer though you should be fine !
@@ed370zx3 also was your used part working ok when installed before reflash? Mine acting same as old one but with code of vin mismatch, thank you for the help
