It was good to see Outman get a big hit that helped give the team a win. Ohtani's HR was loud, hard and long. That sound is special. It's a loud and deep crack when he energizes the bat and the bat whacks the ball at full force.

Yeah, as long as Teoscar doesn't get a sunflower seed in Shohei's eyes. I'm not as thrilled with that form of celebration--a bit too much risk, even if it looks cool.

I don't know what to make of that look. Lux almost seems depressed rather than stunned. He's had a rough year trying to get going at the plate, so I hope he gets going. But he also has a duty to celebrate those who do something good in the game.

Nice job by the end of the order, they really saved this game late with some timely singles and doubles. Ohtani's home run was pretty great too, even before they started talking about speed off the bat I knew that one was absolutely clobbered and was gonna be way up there. Thing was in the stands within a few seconds

3 observations for today: 1. It's still only April. We are in 1st place. Calm down. 2. If Freddie is hitting again -- watch out! 3. Paxson will be an important arm at the backend of the rotation. This season can easily spiral out of control due to the lack of starters so, instead of burning out the pen, let him pile up the IP's. If he ends up with 110+ IP, we will be close to 110 W's at the end. (Of course, Buehler and Miller must stay healthy as well) We will be just fine everyone. Relax. Let's just get to OCT in 1 piece. #BigBlueWreckingCrew

It's good to see lux started to hit I figured he was on IR for a year and he has not face a major league pitching for awhile and he will get more comfortable at the plate and that is going to help the bottom half of the players for hitting ❤ I hope he can find his own hitting rythem ❤ and dodgers are putting wins together and it's like last year they started slow and got hot during middle of the season and hops this year will have a different outcome for play off last year they just lost their rythem with a long wait that happened to Lakers also before they got through the season too easy and have to wait for the playoffs team not the current Lakers the show time era Lakers ❤ and congrats scoop for in the hall of Fame and the desired it and I remember some of the battles he has with Bird 😜 and that is no picnic 😢

Is it me and too high expectations, or the Dodgers are not the team they should be? I don't see them as strong as I thought they would be. The season is long, may be they need collective experience but... I find their pitching lineup weak too. Know that I am a French fan of baseball, not of the Dodgers particularly, so no expert in the matter. I think it will be better when their main pitchers will come on the mound back?
