As a GA runner myself, I was really excited to see you were at Asics! I had never ran the course myself but I can tell you from what I've heard from all of my teammates and others that this was definitely a slower year for Asics, and so I would be extremely proud of my time if I were you, especially with all factors considered. I ran 18:24 (which was a new PR) at Asics, but just yesterday PR'd 50 seconds at Coach Wood, running 17:34. That just goes to show how different variables produce different times. I wish I would have seen you at the meet man! Congrats! You're breaking 15:00 and winning your next race I'm sure!
Bro you are a goat. Keep up the good work. Your progress through high school has been crazy. You are like an idol to me. I hope I can get to where you are next year. 🔥😎🔥
bro your race was amazing you ran good dont be too hard on yourself it only makes you stronger you have a big things ahead of you i believe in you i am so glad your ok with everything at home and your team mates as well we will keep sending prays along to you and your family in this hard time and send all the angles to ride on your shoulders keep the faith and the grind stay safe
Hey, praying for Asheville and all affected by Helene and Milton. I hope you get water back. Congrats on your race, a second place can be discouraging but you will get the dub soon. Great work! One question, what are the nose patches for runners called and do you find that they help you?
Bro. I am about to crash out. I just had my regional qualifiers for state and I have to race Lovejoy and some other texas 5a goats. I got 21st which always makes it state in the past years and leads to a good state finish because we have the hardest region. It is top 4 teams and 10 indiviudals not on those teams make it to state. Somehow the top teams who had kids beating me, their 4th and or 5th runner had to walk to dnf so they didn’t qualify as a team. The 14th overall runner was the 10th individual. I did not make state. I have no idea what to do. I feel completly robbed . I raced my ass of too with my team having to walk or dnf as well. (The temperature was 85 degrees and sunny af)
Dude that’s so unfortunate. Sometimes crazy stuff is going to happen like that so you have to be ready for it. I can totally relate and I know it’s hard to digest.
@@AHScougars thanks for the response. It means a lot. I have only been working with my private coach for around 4 months and have seen so much progress, hopefully I can pull something crazy off in track.
