This shit is real. Dude, I’m 23, and with a full beard people think I’m 28. When I shave, everyone says I have a baby face and that I look my age or even younger. It’s always been like that since I’ve first had a beard, it’s such an extreme difference I go from looking way older to having a baby face lol
I feel that for sure! I was 21 with a beard and people assumed I was 31. It even became a game to me to see how old people thought I was lol. It my become a curse eventually, but I like giving a mature impression. Thanks for watching!

I completely agree with everything that you said. My husband is 40 years old, turning 41 this month (April) and his beard is red but his head hair isn't. It's more like a very dark blonde. Sometimes it can look like a dark ashy brunette. He has light or "clear" looking eyebrows.. that being said, i give his all over head/facial hair the nickname of "calico." But anyways, his bead is not full, it's thin and frizzy and it makes him look at least 8 years older and it's too long and when i noticed him growing it out I'm like, sweetie, you do not look good with a beard. 🤷 He wants to grow it out anyway and it kind of hurt my feelings because of he loves mez wouldn't he care about impressing me or looking his best? And he is very handsome in my eyes. He's not that kind of handsome that gets every single woman turning their heads at him all the time but he's a natural weight lifter and he wasn't super head turning to me at first glance but when i was spiritual attracted to him it lead to emotional attraction which lead to a complete physical attraction that no one can compare to. I see everything about him now that i am very attracted to that no one can beat, really. He he has light blue eyes. I used to really like brown eyes and brown hair and a warm or tan skin tone and he has blue eyes, fair skin, and the rest I've already mentioned and i love his lips and jaw line and cheeks.. and i love his body, he has barely any body hair. I just love him so much. But, why would my husband want to brow out a beard if he knows his wife doesn't think he looks good with a beard? I like stubbles or a clean shave. It just makes me wonder why he wants a beard when his beard is RED, it's not full, it's very thin and frizzy/fuzzy, and it makes him look 8-10 years older 🤔..... I don't get it
No a bearded man doesn’t necessarily look older. I know this first hand as after years of having a full beard, when shaving it off you could suddenly see all age related stuff around the mouth, chin and that the chin was in fact a double chin which wasn’t viable when having a beard. Also, it obviously depends on how well you look after your beard.
That's true, it's never a guarantee to make a person look older. We're just speaking from generalities and various studies we've read regarding the effects of a beard in averages.
