If the nail bags were only for Professional Journeymen, then they wouldn’t sell them to you. Trust me, I’ve seen better DIY carpenters than Professional
I've used these bags for the better part of 24 years. My first pair went 18. I've made a few tweaks to the layout. I changed my preference on where my tape is. I'm a right handed carpenter and found I like my tape better on the left side. I removed that small upper pouch and moved my tape holder to that spot, reattached it with chicago screws. Makes the main bag more accessible too. I also switched the leather ranger belt out for a padded 2 piece belt. I've used a gatorback and a badger. The padding is much easier on the hips, especially when you are framing in hot weather, belt doesn't slide down the hips. Also holds the bags in place and you don't have to adjust them every time you put your rig on. Never could get use to suspenders.
I think that's the belt Wranglerstar uses. I'm not sure what tools I would add for framing. I tend to equip my work belt for the job I'm doing. Empire makes a nice really small flat bar for those hard to reach areas that cats paw can't reach.
I use to do carpentry as a side job. I had the black leather pro framer from Occidental Leather. I really liked them. I sold them and bought Diamondback and they are great. Have you seen their product line? They are also made in USA. Thanks for all the videos, o really enjoy your channel.
Ahhahaha im a pro roofer for 3 yrs now and i dnt think ne one but somone who does and needs it evryday its really for serious craftsman not a homeowner lol but its a free country do wat u want
Why not a homeowner? Conforming comfortable belt is essential for any project. Once you have bags you become faster at anything. It’s like stickers on your car it’s not just for NASCAR. 😂
