I watched shallow hal a few months ago with my brother as an ironic watch because of the joke and it wasn't awful but it was still kinda bad. There was a handful of funny jokes but if u were to watch It unironically then it's probably one of the worst movies ever

I ended up watching shallow Hal with my parents because of you guys bringing it up. I can definitely agree, it was an awful movie, but a movie I will remember forever

Fan of One Piece and I was happy with how they adapted it to live action, while it’s still fundamentally the same series there are quite a few changes such as Garp being a prominent figure in the live action where as Garp is shown around late 200s or early 300s iirc in the anime. As a stand alone show it’s great and I feel my complaints come from the fact I am an existing One Piece fan like dialogue changes but there’s also things the live action does better than the anime/ manga. Both great experiences but obviously the live action is definitely easier to get into. Also about the theme the lady sung is the one from the 4kids dub. However We Are, the original One Piece opening, was shown when the crew were declaring their dreams with the barrel scene.

I love how I was exactly like Zack when saying I'll never watch One Piece because of its 1000 episodes, but here I am at episode 500 absolutely LOVING the story, characters, and dynamics. I must say, One Piece is amazing.

How can you not? Its one of those movies in high rotation on cable TV along with "Something About Mary:. "Fast and Furious", :40 Year Old Virgin" and "Anchorman". They play it everyday---sometimes, multiple times a day!

I agree with Jordan 100%. Harry Potter is long and boring. I forced myself to “like it” without realizing but I saw it in theathers (The order of Phoenix) and I fell asleep. I was like 13 and I didn't use to just fall asleep on places lol

The boat metaphor is called Ship of Theseus, and there doesn't even need to be a second boat, its just that as pieces are replaced over time when does it become a completely new boat, similar to humans shedding our skin and rivers waters moving, does this change who and what we are over time or does our identity remain despite our changes.

One piece is worth 1000 episodes, just saying. it's an epic. I don't want you to watch but I want you to know :p. In my case One Piece was literally life changing with all it teaches you :p (Manga is better and faster tho)

Never would I have ever thought the Underdogs would talk about One Piece. It's nice that Zack actually liked it, because that's what the live action's audience was trying to get, people who have never seen One Piece.

When I was a kid back in like 2004 I remember getting sick a lot and coming home early from school. There were always two movies I'd watch while sick. Who Framed Roger Rabbit and for some unknown reason Shallow Hal. I honestly think its because my child brain didn't understand the movie and it was easy to fall asleep to. I could barely remember a single thing about it other than to break the curse the main character had to say "Shallow Hal needs a gal." This was also before I knew or cared about actors so I didn't even know until the first time they mentioned the movie that it starred Jack Black. Part of me wanted to rewatch it, but I think I'll just keep it in my memories where it belongs.

as someone who is allergic to kiwi, i do not in fact see this as an absolute win. Edit: I believe the experiment that Peter brought up is called the ship of Theseus, and there is a follow up, that being that if you took all of the scrapped pieces, removed all of the damage and rot, and put it back together, is that still the ship of Theseus? Simply because there might be an argument for both, but some might argue that they are both the ship of Theseus. That said, I would love to see this group discuss the Chinese room experiment.
