If I recall correctly, this was partly Steve Jobs's fault, he and the company wanted to put an end to catering to the professional market and cash in mostly on mobile. That said, Cook just isn't good at understanding the tech business much less usability, and it's a mix of the fact that Apple no longer wants to make high end hardware or usable software that doesn't frustrate me anymore, so I'm heading to the PC side of things as soon as I am able. In fact I've been doing a lot of research on Linux distros and hardware compatibility because I don't want to have to use Windows 10 too much either. I feel like i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, I almost wish there was some online support groups for Apple fans leaving the platform.
Great video. Good question. yea, I would say Apple is dropping the ball on a lot of their products, falling back on the idea that their image of quality will hold while skating by with 70% of a product or remodelling something from another company.
