This really shows Apple’s greediness. They literally LOOKED FOR WAYS to make magnets NOT work just so that each customer has to spend thousands of dollars for an upgrade. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Yeah this annoyed the hell out of me and didn’t find out until after I bought my M4 iPad Pro. And yet the USB-C pencil is a cheaper and inferior pencil that doesn’t even have the double tap feature. Make it make sense smh In case anyone has an old Logitech combo keyboard case, it is also NOT compatible with the 11 inch M4 iPad Pro.

This is what people should be outraged about instead of the Crush ad (which I think is good) or the price (which I think is too expensive). People have been conspiring Apple deliberately engineers planned obsolescence and while a lot of those claims were misguided or flat-out false, this one seems to be legitimate and you don't hear a peep from anyone.

I wanted this iPad but as an artist, I don't like the new pencil pro. This is literally the only reason I'm not buying one but hey, I'm saving almost $1,500 purely over the pencil.

that's why I will never buy a iPad again. you would be better off getting the MacBook Air , at least you can get some real work done. I will stick with the mini 6 for RU-vid and watching movies .

It depends what you are doing. If you're an artist or a musician, an iPad makes it way more convenient to draw or read music from. But for everything else it's better to get a laptop

@@MichaelBrandvold I do like my iPad more than my computer for ergonomic reasons. Since I draw 8 hours a day for work, it just feels better to be able to hold something light in your hand and draw on it. Not a bulky laptop or being stuck at your desk drawing on a cintique. If they put Mac OS on it I would be super happy because he could do everything and then I could get rid of my desktop

@@williammclean6594 weekly I record two videos on my iPad, edit the videos on my iPad. I create countless vertical video clips, create and edit tons of graphics. I can do everything on my iPad that I used to use my MacBook Air to do. I haven’t use a laptop on years now. Don’t miss a single thing.

You only show the magnets arent in the right place. Hell of a nuisance. You havent shown us whether a charged pencil 2 will connect and write on the new iPad. Would you mind doing the rest of the job? Will check back.

My 3rd party keyboard doesn’t even work with my new m4 iPad I’ll have to wait for a new keyboard to be made. I refuse to by Apple keyboard but I will buy there new Apple Pencil soon

Old news. People complained about the placement of the front-facing camera which led to a redesign. Unfortunately, the Pencil had to change too. Annoying but everyone is over it by now.

Such bullshit. I use the that pencil with my gen 6th. It's literally way better than the new pencils they've released. I genuinely can't believe they released two new, shittier pencils and an iPad that doesn't even work the the best pencil. The new pencils missing a lot of capabilities
