Let’s get one thing straight!! I would watch, like, share, comment, download, upload any clickbait Chat Roulette videos at half speed without skipping ads as long as you never review Creed Millillillillisime Imperial!!
I dont agree George... Creed are putting themselves out of business by pricing themselves completely out of the market by asking for exuberant money for completely average performing scents... and that is exactly why C.D.N.I.M has been such a success and creed are now finding themselves in trouble.
@@itskyyuuuu maybe not right now but they're so arrogant that they're shooting themselves in the foot and in a few years they'll realise no one wants to buy from them anymore because they're not innovating and are pricing everyone out of their products
When you bought Unforgivable because you liked its smell and then hear about Milestone, you'll buy it without much hesitation because Unforgivables perfomance is just so terrible.
You are hands down the GOAT. The quality and production value of your videos is second to none. Thank you for making such incredible content for the fragcom. You are a treasure.
MI was my fav Creed scent and after buying Milestone its difficult to justify continuing to spend that much on MI. Milestone is about 90-95% the scent profile with better longeivty on my skin. Game over.
Just received my bottle of Milestone. This is insane. I mean it is really a stronger, more powerful version of currently available MI. The salty, oceanic part as you mentioned is 100% there. This scent is very natural smelling, doesn't come across synthetic at all. Creed must wake up before it gets too late. I want Armaf to do a perfect clone of Tom Ford Oud Wood.
@@DTJ2024the difference in quality between the two fragrances is noticeable when compared side by side but every year creed lowers their quality and increased their price. Milestone is about 90% similar to creed but doesn’t price gouge the customer. Paying a few hundred dollars for a creed fragrance which goes down in quality every year is not worth it vs buying a dupe.
I disagree so strongly w this. There is nothing natural smelling about Milestone, it is 100% synthetic sprayed from the bottle and doesn't compare to real MI. For the value it's great, the sillage and projection are def there but that's all Milestone has. It's like comparing gas station sushi to Iron Chef
You are utterly entertaining! I remember when you did that collab a while back with a bunch of the Frag community and you were brilliant. Thank you for putting a little joy and levity into my life. Peace be with you and yours.
Really enjoyed this video! Great and honest review. I'll declare my hand, I am no subscriber to Creed hype, never have been - and I've been collecting fragrances for many years. I've always thought them over-priced; their inconsistency of batches irritates the hell out of me when so many other perfume houses manage to get it right and at a lower cost. Like you, I have some sacred cow fragrances, but if someone else produced a fragrance so close as made no difference, like you, I would be honest about it - but I also know how tough it would be to admit it! This is the first of your videos I've watched, I am now sufficiently intrigued to watch more. Thank-you and well done sir.
I‘m really new to this fragrance hobby and I appreciate your attitude with telling us to support to creators but on the other hand you are genuine enough to tell us that there is a fragrance out there that is almost like your favorite. You don’t bullshit your viewers and that’s what I like about you! :)
MI is also my favorite(and I actually am one of the lucky ones who get great longevity with it) but Milestone is if not outright replacing MI, supplementing my last 3 bottles of MI(2016)to make them last longer. My mom who smelled me one day was amazed by the smell and insisted I get her a bottle(she has never had that reaction funny enough even around MI) so I got her 2! She said it smelled like watermelons and I laughed, it’s now her favorite fragrance, it even dethroned Tommy Girl and that was her fragrance love! I find Milestone is a super close clone of MI but the watermelon part(which I never made out as an actual watermelon smell, more of a freshly cut rose stems) does lean closer to a watermelon smell to me. So in a way, it actually may be more appealing to many. Honestly like George, I don’t want to say what I’m about to say but I’m going to say it. Milestone is awesome and There is no way I will buy another bottle of MI with this good of a replacement(I’m not even gonna call it a clone). This is an easy 10/10, everything from the price to the smell and to my critical nose, the quality(if you have smelled cdnim and did not like it, this is a different situation) impressed me to the point where I personally am replacing MI with this and I am MI’s 2nd biggest fan! If you love MI try it, no hype here, this just replaced my favorite fragrance which kinda makes me feel uneasy and dirty and kind of like I am abandoning a close friend. “Sad but true”(in my greatest James Hetfield voice). Supporting artists is one thing, supporting a for profit company who sold to another company just for the sake of burning money is not wise. This is that good of a clone that in my opinion and to my nose, I would suggest your wasting money...I can’t believe Im saying this, that’s how good this is. I’m sad but being realistic I’m happy I have this for $38 bucks a bottle...unreal, this is the greatest fragrance hack in the universe and the greatest fragrance bargain I think there is. If it’s not a 1/1 clone, it’s 10% more watermelonly with the exact same framework around it with the ozonic airy sea salt. I think Armaf just screwed up George’s last review, which I am also sad about. This fragrance is depressing and joyous at the same time, balancing both equally just like the sea salt ozonic watermelon/freshly cut rose stems accord that made MI the greatest do it all fragrance of all time. I can’t believe I’m talking about an Armaf this way...I can’t believe it.
Kudos to you bro. For that Life saving (lol) review. MI was my signature but performance was meh... But milestone as per u is more than the replacement and kills MI cold blooded.
agreed every bit of this review.. wore it today.. 9 hours later it still lingers around me.. very good stuff from Armaf.. miles ahead compared to other clone (unforgivable, love n luck).. really hard to find anywhere in Malaysia.. sold out.. I'm one of the last buyer.. lucky me..
Started my fragrance journey few months back, I’ve a nice collection so far. I just keep watching reviews of fragrances all the time. Whenever I’ve time I’m on RU-vid watching videos about Fragnances. I must say you’re a best reviewer so far mate. Love watching your videos ❤️
I have both. And I regret paying $450 for a bottle of cologne that smells 95% like a 60 bottle of Milestone. Unless some one asks you to see the bottle they have no idea it is not Creed.
@@Coloradical_ no sir. The new creed doesn't hold the same scent as the old bottles. That's a fact. Unelss you have a older bottle let's say 2013 or 14? All smells the same.
@@Friend2NoOne I cant speak on older bottles, ive never smelled. i do find it hard to believe that older MI smelled cheaply made and ultra synthetic tho. but what do i know?
George, great vid. Some really wise words when it comes to clones and I agree with your comments. Whilst it’s not the cheapest hobby in the world, where possible we should try to support the original fragrances for the sake of keeping brand(s) alive. This especially applies to the likes of perfumers like Creed as they tend to focus more on perfume-making rather than marketing. Creed rarely advertise, don’t do celebrity endorsements and keep their distribution channels extremely limited; so pride themselves on their quality and rely on word of mouth etc. As Erwin Creed once said ‘the quality speaks for itself and thats what keeps our clients loyal’.
I have recently bought Milestone. Very very good quality, very 90s, yummy salted melon/fruit. Not monster longevity, but acceptable. All in all, a pleasure to wear. Leaves very oily residue at the point of application. Proper test to come in summer time :) Love the dramaticality of your review, very involved, grabs my heart. Cheers!
We're deep into fall, but today the weather is warm so I decided to try my sample decant of Millesime Imperial. I LOVE IT. Versace pour Homme and D&G Light Blue eau Intense have been favorites of mine (I even had a spray of Versace on at the gym), but this blows VpH away. The price for a bottle of Creed is quite extravagant, so I'm very happy to find that you like this bottle of Milestone which costs 1/10th the price.
I simply just cannot afford ANY Greed fragrance! However, I am VERY happy with Milestone! It's so good that I put it right up there with CDNIM and Sillage as being THE BEST Armaf clones! It's friggin BEAUTIFUL!!
💯💯💯 I HAVE NEVER ONCE REVIEWED A RU-vid VIDEO B4, BUT HONESTLY JUST LISTENING TO YOUR TAKE ON THIS. i gave it a shot and i gotta say u were right MILESTONE IS AMAZING. THE SCENT IS JUST BREATH TAKING. wishing club de nuit intense intense was such a smooth pleasing fragrance from scratch. Damn! I just received it and im already thinking of buying another one. Thanks mate
I love your channel and reviews. Clones do serve a purpose/market. People don't just buy clones,it's mostly coz they are prized out of the original stuff. I live in Nairobi and i love my frags, but when you add shipping costs, import taxes +VAT these original frags are like twice what you guys buy in the UK/US, so i look out for UAE houses which are easily, readily available here. Once we both step out,you cant tell who's who
New to the game, but found you through Chris and Aaron- just love your work and humor and passion. Inspiring, funny, and intimate/vulnerable. Awesome :) Thx
Right now I’m in the library working away at my PhD, and there arose in me the sudden and random urge to watch an Armaf Milestone review. So, after a couple of minutes scanning the usual tripe I came by this and started to watch. I was barely two and a half minutes into it and I just had to stop, because it looks too good to just casually watch right now. The suspense has me such that I’ve paused it, and the second my boys are in bed tonight I’ll be racing to sit down with a glass of my favourite red to enjoy the remainder from the utmost edge of my favourite chair. I know the Armaf cloning stuff is old news to all those ‘fragnogs’ or whatever you call yourselves, but I’m a total newbie in the field and can’t wait to see this story unfold (hands rub in anticipation).
I know I'm late to the party, but after buying it, I've never looked back... Its more refreshing fruity and easy to wear!! Also, leave the indicated notes behind, it really smells like melons... Not watermelons, Mellons... Which is super refreshing and nobody has a perfume that's based on this fruit and this bottle seemingly by mistake has gone and made this fragrance happen...
A genuine thank you for this review. I own a 2012 bottle of MI and I am afraid to finish it off. I have owned a 2016 batch which I kept a decant of, my favorite batch by far. I would much rather buy a new bottle from Creed, but with the recent reformulations, I’m going to give Milestone a try.
I don't think clones are killing the perfume industry. I think IFRA regulations are killing the perfume industry. It's much easier to clone expensive fragrances, if houses are being forced to switch out natural raw materials because of "allergens" and replace them with synthetics.
After watching hundreds of fragrance reviews from various RU-vidrs, this one is the very best I have come across. Genuine, authentic, and entertaining. I am also frustrated as to how close this is (relatively speaking) for the money. I didn't buy this one because I am such a fan of MI. I only bought this to qualify for free shipping and think I will be reaching for this all summer long on my travels. While I am late to the party, Armaf has pulled off another great, easy-reach fragrance. For the price, it shouldn't be this good.
@@kuhar5165if it wasn’t for creed creating the smell you wouldn’t be paying for anything that smells like this so I’d say be supportive of the brand who came up with the original scent tested it and put it out on the market
Just purchased a bottle cause of this review. Never tried any Creed Fragrance, but if this is anything like Sean John Unforgivable im gonna be in love wit it!
Never try CMI or Milestone before, but based on reviews, specialy yours, got my Milestone two weeks ago. Just love it. Blind bought it ACDNI too, got me second bottle. Next on list is Explorer. Since came out, love it.
Be honest with your viewers the reason you go through 5 bottles of Creed Millesime Imperial is because Creed Millesime Imperial is so weak and not worth the money. The Creed label #2 ingredient is listed as water Your Millesime Imperial has died and left no scent.
I gotta he honest. Armaf is pretty damn good at Creed. When I want compliments I go with CDNIM or Tres Nuit. When I’m wearing fragrance for myself. I wear the Aventus or GIT. I don’t know why... I swear Armaf clones of Creed are compliment monsters
I've had my hand on the trigger with this one for some time now but after hearing you and Ashes reviews on it I couldn't resist going ahead and making the purchase. Thanks for the review mate.
Or perhaps the original creators should listen to the critics and make a change instead of diluting their fragrances and charging the same price or more.
You gotta let your Armaf macerate for 2 months and it will KICK in the strength like a mf. Spray it 15 times, shake it up for 40 seconds and leave it alone for 2 months. The smell changes drastically.
So, it was this compelling chap and review where I purchased said bottle. Having a bottle of Creed in my medicine chest, along w 7 other Creed. It was a favorite upon first whiff. This iteration lasted a whole week on my Lululemon polo that I wore on a date. Just laundered and am still shocked that the scent is still there. Are there discrepancies, surely, negligible, most assuredly. Just buy and enjoy. Insane value.
Your thumbnails are so funny! Honestly, that face expression:))) Just wanted to say that (these perfumes doesn't interest me at all but I am quite shocked that Creed is your FAV perfume WOW!)
Hi, you got me to this creed fragrance Imperial, bought it and lovin it. From all perfumes I ever smelled, Imperial im lovin the most. Form me just timeless good for all seasons and events. The Armaf - Club De Nuit Milestone havent testet yet. Greetings from Switzerland.
It's interesting how Ramtin from the RVMVADATI channel often doesn't get mentioned in fragrance discussions. I haven't found another channel that goes into such detailed explanations of fragrances rather than just listing notes from Fragrantica. What sets him apart is his thorough research and the fact that he talks to perfumers before his reviews, gathering intricate details sometimes missed by official fragrance house websites. Ramtin takes a unique approach, more like a fragrance teacher than a typical reviewer. He breaks down the complexities of each scent, and his dedication to explaining rather than just critiquing adds depth for fragrance enthusiasts. Without a doubt, if there's a list of essential figures in the fragrance community, Ramtin from the RVMVADATI channel deserves to be at the top.
Ok, this video I commented on 3 weeks ago motivated me to buy this fragrance.... The truth... I actually like it better than the original. The armaf smells very much like the MI batch I had in 2010.. it actually smells like a vintage batch and the performance i get is great.. I was very surprised about how good the performance is and projection.
Millesime Imperial is one of my first purchases when I got into the hobby back in 2011. The opening was phenomenal buy it rarely last on my skin. In 2016 I bought a 17 oz MI and I was disappointed. It doesn't smell as good anymore. I've missed the original MI until I found Milestone. It's better than current MI and has better performance. Sure, it doesn't have as that creed ambergris but it's the next best thing to having vintage MI
Thank you for such an honest review. Thank you for being honest about Parfum vintage. Thank you for telling it like it is. Subscribed, liked and commented. Will continue to watch
I watched the review you made for club de nuit sillage and brought me to this one. I have to say that you are the best at giving your honest opinions and it has been super fun and enjoying watching your videos. some frag reviewers are just making me sick to watch. Please keep going!
@@FragranceGame85 I’ve got club de nuit…..quality fragrance albeit not my favourite style. I haven’t tried Sillage but I have silver mountain water and it’s decent but overrated IMO.
too bad im not into this stuff as much anymore.. You would be one of if not my favorite channel.. the rare times i watch a fragrance video and stumble onto one of yours, I always find it extremely interesting, or funny, or just a video that grabs my full attention. I think you're gifted .
Why Spend $300 to $500 for any Fragrance when you can spend $35 to $50 a fraction of the cost? I get it difference between Designer & Niche in Quality / Ingredients...
The fact that you have to pay attention to the batch No. with Creed fragrances tells me that they have a serious quality control issue. Each batch should be identical to the last, unless that batch variance is part of the Creed business model...
Wow. I feel EXACTLY the same about MI. It is my end all be all, "if there could only be one" type fragrance. I also feel the same about RoU, and all the other clones. Looking to try Milestone now because of this.
The video was so intense 🤣 i just bought Milestone. The og is 3rd on my list to buy from Creed, GIT is up next for me. Great video and you've got a new subscriber 👍
Thanks for the video, loved the intro, got me to say......"hey maybe this guy knows a little something about the golden creed bottle fragrance" all in all liked your style of content.
Wow.. this CDN MILESTONE smell 99.9999% just like Creeds MI and last much longer as well.. Beast mode fragrance! 🔥🔥will never pay Creed prices again for this fragrance, from now on CDN MILESTONE it is…
There is obviously some diminishing return when paying the big bucks for fragrances. I find that the £100 extra is for that extra 10-20% of pleasure you get. Other times it's that tiny bit of difference that makes it worth anything to begin with (eg. The exact scent that triggers a scent memory).
First off... Is this a fragrance review or stand up comedy! Second, take away all your MI bottles... This channel. Must. Go. On. Third... Keep up the amazing work!!! Love it!
Had to subscribe. Best fragrance review Ive ever seen. I think you could make a great actor. LOL. I don't mean you were acting whole time. Just the emotions you are depicting.
