No, it's getting stronger and the BRICS is falling apart. Russia and China is collapsing and India currency is crashing. Over 40 countries in the global south have applied for loans to the IMF (America) because they cannot feed their country. The problem is most do not trade with each other and most are not industrialize. They need the advance technology that G7 that America and it allies have. As well as their money many need serious "Welfare" to stay afloat. South Africa and Brazil are good examples.

It doesn't matter BRICS is powerless. Most members only trade with China. Also, China, Russia, and India will not abandon the US dollar. Also, BRICS members rely on America to keep sea lanes open and secure from Pirates and Rouge nations.

BRICS purpose to introduce another currency for international trade. Differences exist in every corner: in NATO, in EU, in the UNO, and so will definitely appear in BRICS. Recent restrictions on on Russia has alerted many countries to safeguard their financial independence.
Brics is not inherently anti West . Is it not possible for countries that do not agree on everything to cooperate on economic matters ? As for wars , Is China involved in a war ,Brazil , India or South Africa ? Most Brics countries do not want to be involved in wars . There is no NATO equivalent in Brics ,nor is a military alliance envisaged . Must the rest of the world obtain permission first from the US and Europe before we try to help ourselves by cooperating?
No it won't. BRICS is hardly more than a forum of China's allies and their influence is limited, for now. In addition the countries in the bloc do not even trust each other so they will have a hard time getting anything done besides the posturing we have so far seen.

because is not part of the alliances the usa has cultivated over the years, groups like : NATO, OCDE, G7, EU. the word " western" is used to include those countries who have close ties with the USA. brazil is culturally western, but is not part of this club of nations.

Because the original definition was Europe/the 4+1 powers, changed to west definition was western Europe + US, so included Australia as technically under UK, and with modern EU most of eastern Europe/Scandinavia is included as well. Very modern definitions sometimes include central and South America, and sometimes Russia/ex Soviet countries, though with Russia it's always an odd one as sometimes it's completely anti, with modern it's very anti again.
Brazil is in trouble while doesn't like the America it going have to sign a deal with them to survive. China which Brazil relies on is crashing. Russia is collapsing as well, that where Brazil get all of it's fertilizers.

If BRICS+ members are concerned with the cost and burden of routing trades in dollars, setting up a trade settlement platform to trade free of dollars among them will resolve that issue. But it will not make any member ricer advance their own currency.

These guys will never get it..the world is innately diverse, incoherent and contradictory, BRICS, the concept of global south is all an effort to embrace that, unlike the western block, that has always promoted and nurtured homogeneity, monoculture which is the reason why they are so much into forced diversity stuff lately. It's never "Us" vs "Them", but Western blocks think that way, it's not an anti-western block, it's a non-western block, the hope is the western block would realize this and ultimately stop propagating this 'Us" vs "them" stuff..Look at every western movie, LOTR, 300, Avengers Endgame, the protagonists are generally monoculture and the enemies are the ones with people from multiple species or races or ethnicities....so just imagine, if those "enemies" managed to unite people from so much diverse backgrounds, who are the ones resisting it? The protagonists in the movies...which is nothing but an allegory of the real world...the western block.

Let brics do their own thing and we in the west can do our own thing. If people do not want to work with brics or the west etc I do not see the issue. If they want to trade one currency domination for another they will still be beholden to the largest player in brics.
