I feel like I’m starting to see this fear of fakeness in luxury shopping circles more and more, especially with the rise of counterfeit products. In fact, some people apparently think that buying a fake handbag makes you a fake person, which is an argument that is so modern and oddly deep that I doubt that I have the means to analyze it properly in a single video. And yet, here I am, doing my best to answer the most modern philosophical question ever: Does buying a fake purse make you a fake person?
