Does Danny Briere need to make a trade for Flyers offseason to be successful? | PHLY Sports 

With all the rumors heading into last weekend’s NHL Draft, some Flyers fans are a little disappointed that Briere and the Flyers haven’t pulled off a blockbuster move, outside of Matvei Michkov’s early arrival. No trade-up in the first round. No Trevor Zegras or any other young center yet. Just contracts for Garnet Hathaway and Erik Johnson, which aren’t the most inspiring of deals. For this offseason to be considered successful, does Philly’s GM need to make a big splash in the trade market?
