Can Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson get back to a level of being a Top 5 QB in the NFL? He was one of the best quarterbacks in the league during his time with the Houston Texans, so can he get back to the that form while he's a member of the Browns, only time will tell.
The potential is there. It's just a matter of unlocking it.
Deshaun Watson is excited for the Cleveland Browns Week 1 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, which will feature Tom Brady in the broadcast booth.
The matchup between the Browns and Cowboys will mark Brady’s debut as a FOX commentator, likely drawing many additional eyes. Watson is ready for the spotlight.
“That’s dope as hell,” Watson said on his “QB Unplugged” show.
Watson continued: “It’s super dope. The GOAT gets to watch you. You have no choice but to put on a show.”
Watson’s co-host Quincy Avery reminded him that he got the best of Brady a few times on the field.
“Facts, no diddy,” Watson said.

Top 5 ? Top 5 ? Hell No ! Have you watched him play the last two years ? Until Watson's play on the field is Top 5 he is no where close ! You are what you show on the field ! One good half in 2 years ! What was his PFF rankings ? Below Baker ' Brissett ' Joe Flacco . Watson has alot of work to do !

Respect to GBush, sound like you starting to come around. Winning in spite of deshaun is not going to cut it anymore. He must be the reason we are winning some of these games, he should be putting up some of those houston numbers if he still is that guy. Those two graphics really tell the whole story, he has been a shell of his former self and we really need to see him do something individually this year too. Jay you nailed it like you always do, way to call it how it is. Earl i think your crazy if u think watson is the 4th best qb in the nfl. But its all good content.

HAHAHA are you serious!? Top 5??? He doesnt rank in the top 20 in any per game passing stats since becoming a brown! CBS just ranked him the 18th best qb, and i feel like that is about 5 spots too high. Deshaun Watson is a 74 overall in madden!! Everyone outside of Cleveland thinks he is a joke!

Forget what this dude is saying. I DO expect Deshaun to have the stats AND win!! I’m sorry, but to be paid the way he is there is a certain standard of play that is expected of that. If Watson had that 200 yds, 1 TD, and 2 INT’s stat line and they won, it wasn’t because of him. It was because of that defense. This guy needs to stop giving a false dichotomy! Deshaun CAN play very well AND the Browns can win! Stop that! For everything the Browns have gone thru to get him, he should be the REASON why they win more often than not! He NEEDS to be playing in a way that allows him to go toe-to-toe with Mahomes, Burrow, or Lamar! I don’t want to hear that crap anymore! And I’ve been a strong supporter of Watson but cut that bull crap! He needs to play often and really well!

Who, in their right mind, would take DW over Burrow or Jackson? That makes him #3 at best in the division, how can anybody argue he's top 5 in the league. Mahomes, Presscott, Barrett, Herbert, Allen, the list goes on and on.

What's more important than QB rating is the teams winning percentage. Therefore I don't care if he's in the top 15, that's more than good enough to be very successful. You gave the reason yourself, all the other moving parts, defense, special teams... The QB does not have to be elite like Mahomes. The rest of the team has to be really good. Check.

Happy you think points matter, in 12 starts deshaun threw 14 tds. So he is scoring 6.13 points per game for the browns. Is 6.13 points from your starting qb going to get it done when the defense can't carry him anymore? He is averaging 1.1 tds per game the last 2 years. This is so bad.

Watson is not top 5 qb. But neither is Burrow. How the hell can y'all worship Burrow and not Stafford or Hurts or Purdy or even Goeff or Rodgers? What makes Burrows so special? He gets dominated in the division. Browns and Ravens own him. He stays hurt, and he has had two good seasons. Hurts had had a far better career than Burrows and people just ignore him.

"Watson's 58.7 cumulative PFF passing grade over the past two years ranks 53rd among qualifying passers" According to pff he has been the 53rd best qb over the last 2 years! 53rd! i thought his 38th ranked QBR was bad when ESPN posted that. But 52 other qbs have graded higher than him over the last 2 years! WOW. This guy stinks!

I don’t think he was discounting the women. Looking at the details of the case it was clear that many of the women just wanted a money grab. Not saying Watson should be reprimanded but he never physically assaulted or forced himself or anything on any women. You got people trying to call him a rapist and all that when he is no where near that. You got people like Robert Kraft and Ben Rothlesberger who have been accused of and have done way worse.

That’s the problem with rape accusations, 99 out of 100 times, it is only the accuser and the accused involved. Barring a video, a he said she said is VERY difficult to prove in a court of law. Even bodily fluids can be explained away by the defendant saying it was consensual. So ask yourself, why do you believe the two women who accused Big Ben, but think 20+ women who accused DW of misconduct are lying? I don’t know the exacts of what happened in either case. Jay doesn’t either, but IMO, is being dismissive of 20+ women by feeling empathy for DW and finishing it with “a bunch of women who ended up with big paychecks”. If Jay wants to take his vailed shots at them to let us know what he thinks of that whole situation, fine, but watch how quickly things get awkward if someone actually spoke on the “disturbing” details on that show. Or the accuser still refusing to settle. Or DW’s deposition video. Jay knew exactly what he was doing on that comment

For me these quarters backs would have too face 👀 each other multiple times before I could make a decision on who's better. I still remember the Tom Brady & A Young 🌱 Watson under center battling it out too eventually Brady winning it of course lol 😂! But Watson put up a hell of a performance against Brady and Coach Bill Belly! The only Quarter backs I see from your list that can go back and forth with Goat 🐐 Brady is P.Homes, Larmar, maybe 🤔 Burrow. Had barely over 200 yards in either of those games against terrible teams and was relying on the defense to win us the games. Stop being delusional. The second half of the Baltimore game was the only time I can't talk shit on him. He showed up but that was literally just a half not a full game.

2 terrible teams & 1 good half. The 1st half of that game was garbage. So bad in fact that the overall stats of the game were still mediocre at best. Lest be honest it wasn’t good. The only good part was we won. Ain’t none of us forgot nothing. So far the juice hasn’t been worth the squeeze. Period!
